This is a convenient location but should have employee procedures in place to check the paper rolls at the car wash as well as the gas pumps! Live nearby they never have printers working at pumps. I have to go in to get receipt. Why bother? I'll go somewhere else so I can pump the gas and go. I like Thornton's a lot. They're a gas station and convenience mart. Their gas prices are competitive, but what gains my loyalty is that most Thornton's offer freshly brewed iced tea. This location keeps it brewed 24/7, which keeps me coming back. Beverages are cheap at Thornton's: 89 cents for any size fountain drink or iced tea, or 59 cents for any size refill. Coffee is 99 cents, and it's not bad. There are a variety of things you can add to your coffee if you like it flavored. There is usually quite a variety of fresh donuts at Thornton's to complement your coffee. The food could be better at Thornton's: the hot food is mostly limited to roller-grill hotdogs. On the plus side, most Thornton's offer a variety of fresh fruit, providing an option for healthy snacking. Restrooms at Thornton's are nearly always spotlessly clean. This is great when I make one of my "tea and pee" stops. In the men's room (I haven't been to the ladies room), there is always a condom vending machine. this is just an okay Thornton's it's in a convenient location right off of the expressway which is good cuz I'll stop there and get gas and they do have a lot of gas pumps which is also excellent so that's why it's getting a 3 because of the gas pumps now what's keeping this from being a four or five is the inside of the location is just very small and not up to par to other Thornton's cuz Thornton's is always looked at as one of the Premier gas stations and this does not match up to other Thornton's that are located in Louisville read more

This is one of the few places that still has a drive-thru, touch-free car wash. I like to show my wheels some love by keeping my ride clean, but sometimes it's too cold for a DIY job. When that's the case, I head this way. For just $8 I get a no-frills exterior wash and get all of the winter grime off of my whip. Quick, simple, and efficient to keep me on the go! read more

Ok. I go here for beer, the 2 women behind the counter are laughing about how much they hate their jobs. They said they didn't need to see an ID because they "wouldn't care if I was 12 years old" they would still sell new alcohol tonight (bad day, I get it) I get home, a mile away, and realize I left my phone. This is where the story gets interesting. Over the next 4 hours I try to get my phone back from this store but can't because the employee has had a breakdown and has barricaded herself in the office and has locked the doors. Not kidding After a long wait, a manager shows up.. without keys.. and proceeds to have an attitude with me because I don't understand her employees problem... nope... I don't.. and I don't care.. I wanted beer, then I wanted to get my phone back. I spent hours at this store with confused onlookers, cops, and my growing disbelief that this was actually happening. I managed to get my phone back.. and will be making sure that Ms. Oda and Ms. Shieda receive their fair mention in my complaint to corporate. They have a hard time keeping the place clean but it is right next to Ballard High School. And dont get caught there at 2:25 when all the kids are piling in after school! Oh gosh - the place is crazy! The workers arw a bit paraniod here as well. Im sure they have been ripped off a few times before but its not a pleasant atmosphere. read more

HORRIBLE! Stopped by this store on 11/16/201, at 1:14 am, to get some gas. Entered store and stood there for a few minutes, not knowing which cash register to go to. FINALLY, the cashier came from back of store with cleaning gloves on. He never said "hello", never said "Sir I can get you over here" or "Can I help you?" He just stood there looking at me. When I paid for gas, he never said "Thank you" or anything, and when I ASKED for my receipt, he just handed it to me and walked off. Wow! Nasty, unprofessional, ghetto and just lame. I will never return to this location again. He acted as if he didn't want to be at work or bothered with customers. He was more focused on cleaning something int he back of store, than attending to customers. When I went outside, I saw another gentleman go in, and he did the same thing to him.
