There are three floors of beautiful, one-of-a-kind offerings in the barn from repurposed vintage furniture to candles, wooden signs, hand painted seasonal decor. The vision and imagination it takes to create/paint each piece of furniture requires a lot of talent ~ and you will not be disappointed. The owner is a very friendly, lovely lady who was working on new pieces when we arrived, the barn is exquisitely organized, and the prices are better than reasonable. They're not the most tech…read moresavvy, so you won't find a company website but if you give them an old school phone call or simply show up during business hours they're super friendly, welcoming, and eager to assist. They can do all kinds of work, from a simple watch battery change, to fixing antique clocks-- even better, they've got a stash of old parts on hand so they might be able to do quick fixes right on the spot. These are true craftsmen, a dying breed. We are lucky to have such a niche store in our neighborhood!

I wanted to sell some designer furniture and wall decor. I contacted Alderfer and sent pictures of…read moremy items. They sent an expert to look at my items. He chose 16 items for the auction. These were items selling on other sites for hundreds to thousands of dollars. On auction day only 6 of the items were up for sale! They sold at very low prices ,$100.00 - $300.00 ! After Alderfer deducted their commissions and expenses they sent me a bill! I did protest and they ended up sending me a small check. It took over a month to get my 10 items back. They wanted me to have an estate sale to sell these and other items. I wouldn't trust them to sell anything for me ! I feel this was a total scam. This is a warning to anyone wishing to sell items.
