When I first saw the first YouTube video of Pure Financial Academy something really resonated within me. This is Psychology and Nature in it's truest form. If I can give you an analogy and if you can understand it than learning how to trade using Pure Financial Academy's approach will make perfect sense. I have Baseball cards from 1990 that I have been trying to sell. I am not able to due to the fact that people learned that these cards might be worth something in the future so people stopped throwing them away......thus creating a large supply of card from that era, but if I had cards from the 40's-60's I would be able to sell because there is large demand, as back then everyone threw them away or put the cards in their bicycle spokes. See, the market is exactly like Nature, Baseball Card collecting, Car Dealerships (How they see their cars) ....LIFE!!!!! A hot mess! The start date for class was postponed two weeks later the day BEFORE the original…read morestart date because of a "family emergency". Two weeks later we're told we have a new instructor just for the second day another family emergency occurs with her which isn't her fault. However the following day everyone is waiting outside the locked doors 15 minutes after class was supposed to start because no one's there! No lights, doors locked, no one was answering our calls, no emails or a heads up, nothing! Our class of 25 dropped to 8 that following week because the lack of unprofessionalism and communication was absurd. The one saving grace out of this school was our instructor Miss Terri. She went above and beyond making sure we weren't behind on our course due to the inconveniences that occurred that disrupted our learning days. She was patient, understanding, and lit up the classroom with her lively energy. If it wasn't for her I think the course would've been postponed again for god knows how long until they found another teacher on short notice, she saved my time and made sticking through the struggles worth it. I couldn't be more grateful but besides that I would not recommend. The lack of communication was terrible from the people in charge and even though Google reviews has a high rating (god knows how) I recommend going somewhere else for these kind of certifications. Yes it might cost a bit more but trust no low price is worth the headache and uncertainty.

I have been to General Assembly Atlanta two times now for different workshops and cannot be more…read moreimpressed with the business, location, accessibility, setup, and overall operations. The first workshop I attended was an intro to Adobe Illustrator. We had people of many different professional backgrounds in attendance. Although the class was beginner, they also answered the questions of those with a little more experience. When the presenter did not know the answer, the group may have chimed in to help. (Did I ever mention I love Atlanta) The most recent workshop I attended was the Transferable Skills workshop led by Nita Penn. This session was amazing! It was interactive, relevant, high energy, and applicable to our everyday lives. Nita was well prepared, fun, energetic, and inspiring. A lot of times we take workshops that work on our hard skills and it was nice that General Assembly scheduled something to help us learn about soft skills and how they can be transferable and applicable in various situations. I hope to see Nita continue to lead workshops at this location. I can guarantee that as she starts doing more workshops on various topics I will for sure be there with my friends! I am looking forward to building my personal and professional portfolio and am thankful for the opportunities that General Assembly is providing at such a reasonable cost.

I have taken classes in pole, aerial silks and flexibility and have enjoyed them all. She's very consistent and does a good job switching things up so I never get bored. Initially, I trained in pole and after a baby and a long hiatus from pole, I decided I wanted to work on flexibility before getting back into pole. Julie crafted an hour long, flowing stretch session incorporating flexibility, core strength, partner yoga and therapeutic sports massage - you can't beat that level of attention. She listens and helps you go beyond your limitations with gentle and precise instruction. Also noteworthy are her music playlists. She does a stellar job at creating a sexy, intimate atmosphere where you can freely play and bask in your femininity. The last time I left practice I felt so good I almost walked out the door without my shoes! Julie is a excellent coach and is consistent, kind and knows her stuff! You won't be disappointed.
