Here is my experience with LS Acting Studio's Lucky 7 Convention…read more I want to start by saying that the acting instructors were kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. The classes themselves were informative. However, with only one two-hour class per week and a large number of students, there wasn't enough time to receive meaningful individual coaching. At the convention, Louis even acknowledged that one class a week wasn't much time before encouraging students to purchase additional classes at a discounted rate. That left me feeling like the limited schedule encouraged students to continue spending more money. In my experience, Louis became visibly upset whenever something went wrong or wasn't done exactly the way he wanted. I and several other students felt as though we were treated like children. We were often provided with candy and junk food rather than meals that felt appropriate for adults attending a professional convention. There would be moments when he would ask us to join him in prayer, and then, moments later, he would be snapping at the group or singling out an individual, sometimes using profanity because he disagreed with something someone said or did. For someone who preached so much about kindness and respect, I found this behavior to be very contradictory. It also seemed that he wanted to control every aspect of the program. Students didn't appear to be encouraged to disagree or voice concerns. Instead of addressing issues privately to better understand a situation or clear up possible misunderstandings, he often addressed students publicly. I watched him call out multiple students in front of everyone, putting them on the spot. It made many people, including myself, uncomfortable, and even some staff members appeared visibly uncomfortable with how those situations were handled. Another thing that stood out to me was that staff members would sometimes report students' concerns, comments, or observations about their demeanor, and those students would later be called out publicly. It created an environment where it felt like you couldn't openly express concerns without worrying they would be repeated or addressed in front of everyone without having the opportunity to explain your perspective. After criticizing students' reactions to who did and didn't receive callbacks, he then turned around and announced that everyone had received a callback. I found that confusing and emotionally unnecessary. Not everyone processes disappointment the same way. Just because someone isn't outwardly celebrating another person's success doesn't mean they're jealous or unsupportive. Sometimes people are simply processing their own disappointment after investing so much time, money, and effort. I also struggled to reconcile the message of encouragement with the way some students were treated. Louis commended everyone for making it to the Lucky 7 Convention despite the obstacles each person may have overcome to get there, yet the atmosphere often felt more critical than supportive. Regardless of a student's experience or background, everyone deserves to be treated with respect. Overall, I left feeling that the environment relied more on public criticism than constructive coaching. While I appreciated the instructors, I personally don't feel the overall experience justified the cost. In my opinion, much of what the program offers can be learned through other acting classes, self-study, and consistent practice without experiencing that type of treatment.

TALK has blown me away! Because they not only have these two characteristics, they go beyond! The staff is truly authentic! They always have a huge smile for you. They would always try to help you by either answering even the smallest questions or helping you with other important stuff. You get the felling that are among friends or family. Allison is a wonderful director, she is the kind of person who has a amazing attitude towards students. She is kind, funny, reachable and very respectful. Ally is very sweet, prompt and attentive. I don't know how they do but they always seem to be happy! And when you come at school early in the morning that energy sticks with you! The teachers have a great style in teaching English. They would encourage you to participate, work hard, try your best, correct you, make you speak and show a big concern for you to improve. All teachers are very nice and well prepared! My experience had been nothing but just amazing! I also like the fact that the location of the school is beautiful. You have the best of Atlanta just next to you! I just love it!

I thought businesses announce there companies name for every call so i was stumped at her ghetto and down right rude attitude. But i precede with the call optimistically with much regret...because as i'm asking only two questions about ultrasound procedure and pricing (which were so reasonably priced i must say) she sounds annoyed like she has something better to do than talk to a customer. So I say ok.. were good! I'd rather pay a bit more for great service than pay less and get horrible service from the start. Great customer service trumps price to me!! So i will be going to a more specialized ultrasound business, not a school! "When prices are higher and the service still sucks than that company should revaluate its business practices!!"

I graduated from UAB with a bachelor's degree in something unrelated to healthcare so naturally to break into a healthcare career, I had to go searching for a CNA school just to get started on a healthcare career in Atlanta, GA. I found one review online about Covenant helping their graduates to get a job at Emory and it is absolutely true (if you are an excellent student in their course, including the clinical portion you get a chance at their advanced clinical and only the best ones get jobs). Most of the students there are at Covenant because of the close relationship with Emory. It's like the best kept secret that prospective students had to dig around the Internet to find out but now that this review is going up on Yelp, I am sure the floodgates will open for people to get into this school and competition will be fiercer. Good luck!! The instructors are all fantastic! I took both CNA and PCT courses. Covenant is also offering a dialysis tech course and maybe some other courses as they continue to expand. Ms. Green is a sweet lady but you better behave or she will get ya! :) Ms. Mottley loves to talk but her word is gospel so listen up. Ms. Connelly is the hard-working wizard of a secretary and you will be seeing her often so be courteous. Ms. Lee (the PCT instructor) is a cautious professional--she is very knowledgable, ensuring all her students understand the dangers of being a healthcare worker and what to do when things can go wrong. The school is in a nice location! It is on the first floor of the big orange CARE building. There is a diner just outside the front of the building and I ate there pretty much every school day. I always got the salmon burger, no cheese :) yum! The Korean lady that runs the place is great. The classes were a bit pricey but it is an investment in your education, and knowledge is power. But of course knowledge doesn't always land you the job. Sometimes it's about knowing people, and Ms. Mottley (the Program director) has those connections for you! I work at Emory now in the CVICU and I am so fortunate to have made it here. Emory is a great place to work! The nurses I work under are wonderful and care so much about the patients and their families. I am on my way to nursing school now and it's all because of Covenant. Thank you!!!
