Cool aquarium with lots of fish
    Angela G.

My mom took my son here and they had a great time. The staff and patrons were friendly and helpful to them as they explored it for the first time. They were able to participate in a cute little self guided scavenger hunt. They also have a big aquarium with all kinds of fish. I can't wait to go back and explore it with him too. There is a parking lot in the front and back with ample parking.

One of the most beautiful, comprehensive, scenic, calming libraries ever. Appreciate the plenty of trees outside of the library including cherry blossoms that greet you up on entry. Artworks including a mural add warmth and joy to this place of intellectual learning and community. Love the book arch where all can take photos. Above all, adore the huge window views of trees, nature, bridges while studying and reading books. Plenty of books to choose from and abundance of tables to sit and relax in. Amazing computers for free use for all. Excellent youth section with vibrant fish aquarium. CD, DVD, etc for loan as well along with caring and thoughtful and attentive staff ready to assist and proactively supporting. Many thanks for all for this gem of a library near Thousand Oaks Conejo Valley Park nature of ponds, turtles, succulents, trees, creeks, Green Meadows, squirrels and more.

It's QUIET!! Unlike the libraries close to a school. Free WiFi. Ample computer stations, as well as empty stations where you can set up your laptop. Spacious!!! Nice people. Clean restrooms. Ample parking. Great spot to study, read, work.

The best library in the Conejo Valley area. They have lots of programs for all ages. Great choices of books with a lot of space to read or have group studies. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Overall great experience every time.

Such a beautiful library! Incredibly spacious and there is a huge selection of books to choose from. We came for the Preschool Storytime on Thursdays and it was awesome. The kids part of the library is especially wonderful and geared exactly for kids.

I forgot how much I love this library! I've been coming here with a coffee to get ahead on some work and it is the perfect spot to unwind. There are plenty of quiet corners to set up in from comfy couch chairs to conference tables to sprawl out on. I like how the kids and adult sections are separated with a cool fish tank. If you're looking for a quiet place and are in the area, stop on in.

This is a beautiful library. Well stocked and very organized. The staff are all very helpful. The children's section is very large and away from the adult section so you dontvhear the kids being kids....

Yelp 100 Challenge 61 Amazing library! Kids section is huge, lots of places to read or study. There's a gift shop and a gorgeous fish tank complete with chairs close by so you can simply relax and let your mind wander. I was lucky, this weekend the Conejo Orchid Society held their annual Orchid Show and Sale at the library. There were many beautiful orchids and plants for sale for the beginner as well as for the experienced grower. There were demonstrations on repotting and separating the orchids, answering any and all questions. In addition, the library offers other adult and children's programs. The folks working there are helpful, parking is free and you can't beat a comfortable, air conditioned place to relaxed and escape for just a short while.

I wish I had a library like this when I was kid! Their kids section is huge and has a bunch of stuffed animals/puppets. Since I am an adult who has to drive a lot, I mostly come here for their books on tape. They have a really big selection and you can check out a lot of books at one time. The self check out machines are awesome, you just put your books on the magic counter, scan your card, and the computer automatically knows which books you are checking out. Entire process takes less than 30 seconds. The library itself has a lot of natural light and even an aquarium!

Quiet Study Room: They stopped the air conditioning =(

Park : #2/50 My goal…read morefor now til the end of the year is to review 50 parks. We frequent new parks and I hate when I can't find any updated photos for them so that's how I started my instagram @thatabcsquad to share. And now I'd like to contribute to Yelp as well. I have been eyeing this park for a while now and finally got the catch to venture up north! It's so beautiful and clean and very well thought out. - shaded parking structure - very clean restrooms - lots of grassy space - picnic tables that are fully covered (able to reserve) - baseball field - basketball courts - tennis/pickleball courts - bigger and smaller playground - ant hill to climb and slide - butterfly climbing structure - (pro/con) - wood chips What more could you ask for? Only downside would be the playground itself isn't very shaded so on hot days, it'll be rough! Highly recommend to check out if you're in the area! . Also very close to many shopping plazas! And the janss marketplace mall!

There's a lot of space for them to ride their scooters; the playground itself is big and beautiful with multiple slides and great flower theming. The best part, though, is the ant hill that they build into the park. My kids love it because it is a literal hill that you use cardboard boxes to slide down. This was the highlight for them, and they spent most of their time just sliding down and having a blast with cardboard boxes. I live in North Hollywood, so this was a drive, but it was worth it so that my kids could have a blast, which they did. This park is at the top of our list!

The circulation desk staff helped me to obtain my library card and answered any questions I had about the library. You no longer pay any overdue/late fees if you're late retuning your book. You only pay if you lose or damage a book. There's an online collection of books, which your library card number and PIN (last 4 digits of your phone number) is the key to opening. You can read a novel on your phone if you decide to use the online collection. If someone has checked out a book either online or physically, you can place a hold on it for whenever it's returned. I placed a hold on a couple of physical books, got an email that they were ready to be picked up, and they scanned my library card and handed me the books. It's just an incredibly easy process. I'm also reading a book online from their digital collection. I feel incredibly foolish not having taken advantage of the library in years! There's free WIFI, plenty of events for kids and adults alike in the library (check the flyers in the library or go online), and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful in helping you find what you need and explaining what the library has to offer. The only bummer is that the library is closed on Fridays and Sundays, but you have 5 other days to make use of the library's free resources!
