Fun "ant hill" to slide down with cardboard
    Brenda M.

What a great playground for the littles! Lots of climbing structures, several slides and a tower! My 4year old daughter loved it! We will be back!

You definitely need supervision for the toddler especially for the high tower. Very calm and a great park for all ages

Had a Cubing competition there. It was amazing. Big open gym for it, fitting everyone. Bathrooms were nice.

Basketball court, tennis or racquet sport courts, HUGE playground with multiple play areas and a huge "ant hill" to slide down.

The waterfall is stunning from below, and the view from the top is just as spectacular. Along the way we explored a small cave and passed two beautiful creeks. We even saw some ducks flying overhead, which made the whole hike feel even more special. After that, we hiked uphill on the Teepee Trail, stopped at Lizard Rock, and eventually made our way back to the parking lot. The views throughout the hike are wonderful and so peaceful there's nothing like disconnecting and reconnecting with nature here. Parking is free and the lot is fairly large (around 40 cars or more). There are bathrooms at the trailhead and also near the campground, which is very convenient. We ended up hiking about 5 miles. It took us 2 hours and 30 minutes of moving time, and about 3 hours total including breaks and photo stops. I highly recommend this trail if you're looking for a scenic and relaxing hike.

The park itself is beautiful and clean, which is why we felt confident booking it for such an important celebration. Unfortunately, shortly after our event began, the splash pad stopped working and remained off for the duration of our rental. This was the main activity for approximately 20 children in attendance. While a park ranger attempted to assist, there was ultimately no resolution. What was especially disappointing was the lack of urgency and care from park staff. There was no real apology or effort to make the situation right. We had to go through hoops just to get someone on the phone, which was frustrating in the middle of hosting a children's party. If pavilions are being rented out for private events, you would expect someone to be readily available to assist renters when issues arise. Additionally, we were told at booking that Pavilion B was already reserved and that inflatables were only permitted in that space. However, Pavilion B remained empty the entire time. Had we known, we would have booked that pavilion or adjusted our plans to include a bounce house to make up for the loss of the splash pad. While the park grounds are well maintained, the lack of communication, unavailable amenity, and absence of real-time support made what should have been a joyful day unnecessarily stressful. I hope improvements are made so other families do not have a similar experience.

The grassy field along with the basketball courts are available and less occupied than the pickle ball and tennis courts. My complaint with this park is that there aren't enough pickle ball courts for everyone to enjoy. Their are approximately (6) courts used for competitive matches and the other courts that are used for fun and practicing are always full and occupied. The wait times are ridiculous and their are a handful of people who use intimidation and bullying tactics to try to kick off newbies off the courts. The people who are playing a match use vulgar language and lack decorum. There are children around and I personally do want to be around foul language. Of course, not everyone there is rude or a jerk but from my weekly attendance, a period of 8 weeks observation, it sure is the majority. I'm all for competitiveness and a hunger to win, but mind your manors. The pickle ball culture is out of control. The courts open at 7am and it's packed until 11am. Then if you get off work to practice, around 3pm to closing it's packed. Good luck getting any time on these courts. On top of that, the courts are open during the time you work and if you take the time off to go, you're out at the hottest part of the day. No thanks! CRPD - please build more courts. Please have pickle ball ambassadors to monitor language and sportsmanship, allow beginners to get play time, and thanks for keeping the bathrooms clean!
