The front desk people are very nice too. I've had no trouble getting same-day appointments when my son has been sick. I trust Dr. Tardy's medical opinion (which he is always happy to discuss), and I've even gotten some sound parenting advice from him. He is also great with babies and tired parents. I, of course, took to Yelp to help me find a quality doctor. However, I quickly realized San Antonians don't utilize Yelp as much as I had hoped (meaning: there weren't a lot of reviews which makes finding doctors and other things a little harder). But, through my newfound OB I was recommended to Stone Oak Pediatrics since we needed to have a pediatrician on-file before being discharged with baby (when she was delivered). I have to say that since meeting Monica Riojas and the various nurses (and front desk staff) we have been very happy here. In order to enroll our 5 year old son in school right away we needed a pediatrician and opted for Almouie, but were disappointed with the care they provided. So, when baby #2 came along we knew we wanted a new primary care doctor for both of our kids (just to make life easier). They all have been so helpful, courteous, friendly, and understanding of our family's needs. I have always felt comfortable to ask questions or even question some of the recommendations by the doctor/nurses. Our son is also on the autism spectrum and she helped us with resources and specialists as needs arose with him within the year. I'm grateful for the transparency and that her recommendations are vetted and she adheres to the most up-to-date CDC and AAP recommendations. The care Dr. Riojas gives is top-notch and we've been very happy with our overall experiences.

He handled my fears and concerns with such grace and held her tiny body with such care! Dr. Hall's staff is amazing and accommodating and has impeccable customer service skills. Anytime I've needed a quick appointment (which most parents go through with every runny nose or stomach bug) or needed forms filled out for daycare, they have the quickest turn around time! I always feel welcome and loved and my daughter loves her doctor! As a 2 year old, she feels safe and knows everyone's name! This is important to me, as it shows that they take the time to spend with us and now my daughter can feel the effects if she is able to recognize faces and name names! Facility needs a major facelift or new office, chairs are grey and cracked, and the walls of the patient rooms have stick on outdated decals overall the office makes you feel like you walked back into the 90s not in a good way. They do not have a very good patient portal nor do they have electronic patient forms which in 2025 is sad. Do you know how hard it is to fill out a pamphlet of paper work when your sick child is screaming, this sort of paperwork should be sent ahead of time and electronically in this day and age not only will it ease the lives of the patient but office staff too. Needs some more training on compassionate ethical care not again obvious lack of confidence/experience with patients who are not cookie cutter easy stamp and go.

The office received all the info they required of me, but didn't take their time to review and ensure vaccine dates and frequency before giving her vaccines. Not a good first impression on the quality of their work on top of the front desk lacking in customer service. What if instead they misread and gave her MORE than what she was to receive as opposed to less? I wonder what their excuse or apology would look like then...as of right now, my time, money, and my daughter's peace of mind is affected. My son turns 4 and will need shots in Dec. Maybe they were busy ‍ There aren't any books, puzzles or toys for the kiddies to occupy themselves while waiting or in patient rooms, but there was a tv in the main waiting room. Maybe for hygienic purposes? Waiting room and patient rooms very clean. The nurses were fine, but I thought they could cater more to the kids when interacting given it's a pediatrician's office, but they did their job fine. Nothing extraordinary. I'm used to getting a slip of paper with my kiddies' stats (I save them), but I could be helicoptering or just extra ‍ I was looking around for samples, but none were to be found. You know the baby wash, lotion, Boogie wipes or anything new coming out... Dr Wells was nice, patient, interacted with my 5 and 3 yo. Walked me through paperwork and made sure all questions were answered. I'll continue to use them bc they are 4 min from my home, but will have no problem changing if service is any less than what I received during my first visit. I'm going to give 3 starts bc customer experience is very important to me along with efficiency (which could use a bit more work)and cleanliness (which they were).

The lady at the desk name was Kassandra very rude , not helpful, and should not work with infants and the state if she doesn't have a kind heart.

They have provided exceptional service whether it be scheduling, registration, follow-up questions, referrals, etc. They don't push me to use the portal like most other places and instead provide quick and excellent service over the phone.
