Ginger Wood of Rolling Oaks Funeral Home, Coppell, TX met with my son and I in our home to discuss…read moreand plan pre-paid cremation. Ginger did an excellent job explaining every aspect of cremation and pre-payment. She made us feel comfortable and let me make my own choices based on my desires. Following the death, that necessitated the pre-planing, Rosanna answered all my questions immediately, kept me aware of timing and even made deliveries to my home. I would highly recommend Rolling Oaks Funeral Home, Coppell, TX to anyone who is interested in pre-planning and funeral services.

She took care of requesting the military flag presentation service, catering arrangements, flower arrangements, ordering death certificates, cremation arrangements, and a whole list of other items. We decided to use a large photo instead of displaying an urn during the service, and Becca was able to locate and let us borrow the perfect picture stand. It was really nice to know that someone else was thinking of all the small details during a time of grief when it was difficult for my family to focus on event planning. Their website's online obituary (aka Everlasting Memorial) allows you to upload photos of your loved one that recently passed away. Those photos are then used to create a slide show that can be played during the funeral service. The slide show comes with somber default music, but you can also provide your own music specific to your loved one. My family received multiple compliments on the quality of the slide show. You can also request additional DVDs of the slide show (potential fee), and a custom sticker will be added to the face of the DVD with your loved one's picture on it. The facility is very clean and welcoming, and my family was very impressed with the services they provided. They are also very community-focused. Becca explained that if there was food leftover from the reception that the family didn't want to take home, then she would bring the leftovers to a nearby fire station. If there were any flowers that the family didn't take home, then they would bring the flowers to a nearby hospice or hospital to brighten their day. I would definitely recommend using Rolling Oaks, and specifically recommend working with Becca.

Absolutely the most unempathetic people in the world. They give zero care to what your family is…read moregoing through. The rushed us on our sons cremation like they had a ton of ppl waiting. Didn't even give us any extra time to wait for the rest of our party. Everything about this place disgust me they're all about making money and not about any sort of empathy whatsoever towards the family and what they're going through. DO NOT COME HERE THEY'RE TERRIBLE PEOPLE THAT JUST WANT TO TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DON'T WANNA DO YOU JUSTICE FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY MEMBER THAT HAS PASSED AWAY.

Cecil, owner of Flower Mound Family Funeral Home, made the saddest, most stressful day of my…read morefamily's life even worse. My husband died unexpectedly two years ago this month. I hurriedly planned services and had the misfortune of trusting this funeral home. My husband was a great man, founder and CEO of a successful business, an A&M alumni, had many friends, and was loved by everyone who knew him. It was so important to honor him with a wonderful celebration of life with people coming to pay tribute to him from all over the country. Cecil charged me a fortune. Tens of thousands of dollars which I paid believing the services were in caring, professional hands. The services were held at a Sherman, TX church, as a friend and fishing guide of my husband's was a minister in the church. My husband's body was transported there. Cecil passed out programs with my husband's picture and obituary to arriving guests. When I looked at the program being passed out, I was horrified and embarrassed. On the program, Cecil not only got my husband's last name completely wrong, but the day, month, and year of his death as well. I am not talking about a spelling error. Cecil got my husband's name completely WRONG. LUTRELL was the name on my husband's program, which does not even come close to our name. The date of passing was wrong day, month, and YEAR! I found Cecil in the crowd before the ceremony began and asked him why basic information on my husband's program was wrong. He just shrugged his shoulders and said, "Well, guess I won't be using THAT printer again." He couldn't have cared less that guests were asking questions about the inexcusable mistakes. Obviously, in spite of spending $40,000.00 plus with this funeral home, Cecil, the director/owner did not care enough to proof read the program before the services and he had plenty of time to do so. My husband died April 13, 2023, and services were not held until April 20th. Cecil had new programs printed well after my husband's services. This time Cecil got my husband's name correct. But the day, month, and year of his passing were still incorrect. I informed Cecil that I would need a minister in College Station at the grave site. He said he would handle that and make sure a minister would be at the Aggie Field of Honor the day my husband was buried on April 21, 2023. Cecil neglected to take care of that as well. This funeral home will take your money and that's all this horrible place cares about. I thought about suing, but have been too grief stricken to do battle with Cecil and this horrible place.
