They decided to refuse to refill when I was going on vacation and was told if I had issues that I should go to an ER .... This same situation played out with my wife before she switched. Another time I asked for newer medications that worked faster than others in the past.... I was basically accused of being a pill seeker. I understand there is a shortage of doctors but if you are willing to take your life into your own hands.. this is the place for you !

Last straw was when front staff questioned why I was just calling about wrong script when it was none of her business. A simple nsaid I've been on for years and the front staff gatekeeping is not worth the hassle. Advice: Go anywhere else. I was only there because my original dr joined the practice. (back when nurses were allowed to care for patients). Here is how they treat their own: My chief complaint was dismissed by the doctor because I was having a fairly good day. The focus was on judging me for what I've tried in the past, or for not accepting unnecessary tests and treatments that I cannot afford. Hello. People use chiropractic because it is affordable and we do not feel gaslit by them. Yes, we trust them over doctors who choose not to listen and try to convince us of a different reality than our own. People like this doctor sent us there, and now they judge us for it. My entire visit was like the poster for the Gaslight movie. I was even prescribed a medication I didn't ask for, and the dosage is so incredibly low, that she might as well have written "placebo". That was proof enough for me. I have alternatives, and have learned that I need to bring an advocate with me next time. (this is very sad) I feel sorry for anybody else who goes here and wants to get to the bottom of their health issue. I always believed that UAMS was better than that, as it used to be. The clincher is that the doctor is on the faculty and is training all our upcoming doctors to do what she is doing to patients. As a former nursing instructor, I find this reprehensible and hope that other people that see her have options besides doing exactly what she says.

On 1/27/22 I arrived for my 11am appointment at 10:42 am. I was given 2 pages to read and sign…read more When I was taken to the exam room at 11:23, Dr. Alex David's P.A, Emily finally entered at 11:42. I questioned their "no show" policy which states if the patient is 15 minutes late they will be counted as a "no show ". I asked if that applied to doctors as well? She became angry and said it was just their policy. I asked if that was fair. She became hostile when I told her it was unfair and that my time is as valuable to me as theirs is to them. Mind you they changed/ cancelled six appointments last summer. To make matters worse, two day later I received an unsigned letter in the mail informing me they would no longer see me as a patient. I attempted to call Dr. David but he refused to talk/ return my phone call. I urge you to NEVER use him or Nephrology Associates of Little Rock,Arkansas if your renal health is important to you. I will continue to share my negative experience with anyone who wants to go further into detail of her complete unprofessional attitude. Even her appearance was totally out of character as well as unprofessional.

The free coffee tastes a bit burned, like when the pot has some residual to it, so I bring my own. Really a great clinic. Proud patient.
