I turned her on to Carter's a long time ago and it's still one of the best places in town to get fabric and craft needs. It opened back in 1988 and I have stopped in a couple times over the years just to look around. There are so many big round bolts of material head high and on many aisles. There is one other fabric store that might be able to compete with Carter's on pricing but I guess it comes down to the amount of variety in the designs and prints available for your needs at the time.

Fabric is never put back right on the shelf. Two the patterns. I love sewing patterns and when I'm trying to find one I expect it to be in the labeled drawer. I've been shopping here on and off for the past 2 years and, the pattern cabinets are always a mess. Three is the clearance. The clearance aisles a mess and virtually none of the products are marked and trying to get a employee to help is near impossible. 1/5 would not recommend

I explain to her that I need this fabric for my work since I was waiting for 18 days already. My second order came incomplete and once again I called, the girl could not find my order and said that she would call me back. Nothing!! They didn't mess up once, but twice. I am done! I have told my colleges to never buy from this place again. Is not worth the headache. There is no respect for other peoples business and money. At this point, I do not want an apology, I want my fabrics which, I have paid for.
