Paid the high price they quoted because we were assured it would be completed in 1 day but the wrong design was brought and the person in the office was arguing and trying to get us to accept a design that didn't match our home. Then we had to live with a semi demolished unusable bathroom so they could begrudgingly order the right design and had to wait another 7 weeks. Once installed. Flawed part needed to be replaced and missing pieces. They also forgot to turn on the water. It is finally complete but it was a hassle every step of the way and the cost was higher than we expected but willing to pay because of the speed we advertised was important to us. read more

The first time 3 brothers came out they found out we were getting bids for new siding and windows at which point they said they didn't want to waste our time. The office called a few days later and I told them what happened and they said they could send another technician which I made an appoint for a new visit. Cody came out, walked around the house, took pictures and then came back in and started a sales pitch. I told him didn't want a sales pitch we wanted numbers. He again tried twice to go right back to sales and I shut him down. Eventually he says they could do it for with a bid of over $75,000, $25,000 more than the next highest bid and $30,000 more than who we were thinking of going with. When I told him he was $25,000 more than I highest bid he started bad mouthing other companies. I told him to pack his stuff up and leave. Where do I start? Delays. Supposed to be finished before thanksgiving, and they didn't get finished until early March. They did not have the materials on hand to do the work that needs to be done in a timely manner so they were delays again. Tile guy did not speak English and did a very poor job. They did not install the light fixtures and align them appropriately as discussed. They did not put backing for the shower door hinges so they had to tear my closet up to do that after the fact. They have some tile where the joints line up instead of stagger like agreed. The shower bench till it's backwards towards the wall instead of forward to let the water drain off. They totally forgot to skim coat one of the walls and had to come back and do that and repaint it. They did not properly move the toilet flange to accommodate the new toilet so they ended up putting it up on shims. God only knows how long that will last. Bottom line they charged a premium price and did really poor work. If you care about schedule and quality, use someone else. read more

Came to inspect roof and bid. Told him I would not be making a decision until check company recommendations, financing and reviews. He brought up web site with reviews, and showed me BBB recommendation. Showed pics of his inspection results. He became belligerent when I would not make a decision. Very rude. I had to ask him to leave twice. I question the Authenticity of pics, as I climbed into attic and looked fir damage; could not find. I then proceeded to say we are not interested for a second time and stated we were trying to do dinner. When he jester towards leaving it, I said again(3rd time) we are not interested. The price was $31,000 after talking to a local lumber yard, I found out the quality of their windows were very low end and the price was three times what we could find for higher quality windows. My mother 82 years young decided she wanted her roof replaced. She went under contract with 3 brothers LLC and had 3 days to cancel to get her deposit back. After many attempt to contact 3 brothers to cancel by midnight she was getting really worried about she may have made a grave mistake. I told my mom that I would give it my all to make the deadline achievable. I made 1 call and got his voice mail so I left a message explaining the situation not really expecting a returned call since they were closed. Within 10 minutes I got a call back from Geoff (after hours mind you) taking care of the situation. To me this speaks volumes to the commitment they have towards customers. This guy looked for emails to respond to and everything to ease my mothers mind and instead of just dropping it Geoff sent a mass text to my mother and I acknowledging the cancelation of the job and for us to call on Monday about the deposit she made and its return. He went out of his way to comfort my mother on his day off and for that I thank you.. So I had a young gentleman knock on my door and asked if I was planning on doing any remodels or renovations to my house. Fortunately , for him, I was. We set up a schedule the following day to have somebody come out and talk to me about a couple projects. At 6 o'clock the next day nobody showed up. Nobody called to say they were not showing up. I left two messages on two separate voicemails and did not receive a call back. I tried calling one more time, and someone actually answered. She explained the individual was not able to make it and tried to reach out to me to let me know they wouldn't be here. That is a bold face lie. Buckle up, this is long but I've even left out several cocerns. Quote was given by Cody. Not a very professional nor a friendly person. We sat on my porch as I have a large dog, very protective, who'd just had surgery that required 12 week recovery and I didn't want him out in the heat and dirt with bandages and jumping on fence because of the strange man on his property. He kept asking about the other companies that I coming yet to bid the job so he knew who he was competing against. More like knew how much higher to bid my job. In my world, don't tell me what they can or can't do well, prove to me you're better at it! I'd told him in the start of conversation that I wasn't making a choice at this sitting like they all want to do but on Friday after I compared offers. He went on roof, took pictures, attic the same. Immediately when done he'd asked to use my restroom...I didn't have a clue what this man's like and I don't normally let strangers in when my dogs penned up and I'm alone! Then he was in there for 5-10 minutes! I would have excused myself, went to the Stinker station a block away and returned. Eew! We then went through options. Ended up telling me Idaho didn't allow adding more roof vents, that I couldn't use the ridge vents unless I bought the most expensive shingle and on with more fallacies. They are local and family owned, they can do as they wish. He left saying he could only do a certain price if I signed on now. Nope, I research my options. All in all, he was $11,000 over the reputable, highly recommended, personable, professional bid I'd had an hour after he left. I also got a way better warranty with the highest quality materials, all the bells and whistles, all the way around. Honestly, with Cody's demeanor alone I already chose to not do business with this company. Heck, with his personality, unprofessionalism, etc., I wouldn't have purched a bottle of puddle water if I was dying of thirst! Don't let them walk on you, research, look for the red flags. I contacted Three Brothers because I was interested in getting an estimate for remodeling our master bath. I received a call the day before telling me that the estimator was sick and would I mind if they sent out another person. I had no problem with that. The estimator arrived on time, and I explained what we wanted done by showing him our bathroom. I wanted the tub removed, and the shower made longer and wider. He then asked if I had received any other estimates. I told him I'd have to look on my phone for the name and he said, "They were probably a fly-by-night company." I assured him that it was a very reputable company. I then told him who the company was and the price they quoted. He said that off the top of his head, the project would cost around $15,000, and wanted to know if I would be interested in that. I told him that it was cheaper than my previous quote. I then asked why he arrived at that price. He said it was because he wanted to know how serious I was and that he didn't want to waste his time. I told him I was serious enough to have two estimates and make time to meet with him. He also asked how long I had met with the previous estimator. I told him it was for about 2.5 hours and that we had asked many questions and seen many different pictures and samples. I then started getting a bad feeling about his demeanor and asked if he really wanted to do this estimate and if he was interested in doing the job. He replied that he just didn't want to waste his time. So, I told him he was wasting my time and asked him to leave my house. I was very disgusted and have had hundreds of people give me estimates over the past 50 years as a homeowner and have never seen a more unprofessional estimator. read more
