I found this little gem of a shop on the main travelled route through Chiefland and stopped in. I was greeted by the owner, Rebecca, who was pleasant and very knowledgeable. After explaining my desires, she showed me her large showroom which included many options for my price point. She helped me settle into to a decision and we secured a transaction. For a nominal fee, she arranged to have her delivery crew remove the old mattress (free delivery, by the way!). The two-man delivery crew was friendly and expedient. They came and left with a smile. Brick and mortar scrub stores are few and far between; Scrubs by Design offers the advantage of…read morebeing able to try things on, although their selection is fairly limited. As a woman who prefers unisex-style scrubs, there are not very many brands that can accommodate that, however they do carry Grey's Anatomy scrubs, Blue Label, Cherokee and WonderWink. Anything that they do not have in stock in the store, they will allow you to order (which means I was able to order several styles in petite length) and they also do embroidery. Embroidery takes 7-10 business days but pricing is reasonable. They also have work shoes available. A more accurate rating for the store would likely be a 3.5. I usually do most of my shopping for scrubs online, but it was nice to have the option to use a fitting room. Note that they are tucked away in the relatively abandoned center where Toys' R' Us used to be on the second floor. Also of note, they do NOT carry Blue Sky, Figs or Urbane scrubs.
