Admittedly I have been with 3 for quite a few years now, but I think I am getting close to the end now.
This store was the one I would always go to for the last 5 years or so. It was ok 5 years ago, or maybe we were just lucky that day, but it has become increasingly worse over the years. It is always packed out with people and hard to get through the small store to actually look at anything. Plus you can only look for so long before you need some assistance and it is near impossible to get.
As with all stores their utmost importance goes to the customers who are not yet with 3. And it takes a while to choose a phone, set up the account and do all the things necessary before you can leave. They will have 3 or 4 staff on and you still can't get any help.
Once I stood in the line behind 3 other people at the counter and after 15 minutes waiting I walked out. Their call centre is in India so I hate ringing them but will if I have to and with their stores so busy you tend to have to often.
Three have recently merged with Vodaphone but I don't believe it's helped them any so far. Everything still works exactly the same as it did but now I get shitloads more letters, emails and texts trying to get me to swap to a Vodaphone plan. I have unlocked all my phones and won't have to deal with them much longer anyway. read more
