This is the best haircut my girl has ever had. The staff is very sweet and kind to both two legged and four. When we went in the lady at the counter went and got the groomer. She went over Izzys chart, her health and shots, exactly how we wanted her cut. I told them on the phone when I made the appointment that Izzy had a sore on her hip and wondered if we should wait until it healed. She said she would take her and had an appointment open that week. Meant to leave this review earlier, but could not recommend this place enough based on my experience! We had an urgent grooming need due to an emergency rescue/neglect situation and the groomer that was there went above and beyond to not only fit us in on a day they were not taking walk-ins, but she worked outside of her normal hours to take care of our pup. With this, the groomer was very knowledgeable on the breed and styling and we were shocked with how much she was able to accomplish with her time. If I could leave less than one star for this place I would. The old owner was amazing, kind, and speedy as well as always wanting to do exactly what I asked and good about updating you and telling you how long it would take. I had a scheduled appointment for my small dog at 11 o'clock, I came in and dropped her off at 10:50 to which the receptionist said "It will take an hour but we will give you a call." I waited around an hour and half before calling them to ask what time she would be done, it went to voice mail and so I called back a few minutes later. The woman answered and told me they were delayed due to a new customer coming in and wanting their dog groomed. I was fine with it and she told me to come in BEFORE 2 to pick up my dog. I came in at 1:45, not necessarily expecting her to be done yet but I was just coming inside to chill and she asked me she could help me with, the receptionist told her my dogs name and the lady turned extremely rude and told me my dog wasn't done and it was MY fault she was behind because I had "repeatedly" called to interrupt her during the process?? I was dumbfounded because in no way did I demand for anything even slightly I just wanted to stand inside the building while I waited the 15 minutes for my dog. She rolled her eyes at me and told me she would call me before 2, at 2:10 I got a call saying my dog was finished and Amanda was more than happy to take my $50 check for her "three hours" of service to my dog. The hair cut wasn't exactly what I asked for but it was good and my dog smelled nice after. I was disappointed as the previous owners would have my dog out in slightly over an hour and would NEVER make me feel like a bother for checking up on my dog hours after I was told she would be ready. If you're looking for a place with respectful, kind and understanding owners, go somewhere else. Their work is fine but their attitudes are disgusting. I won't be returning EVER again. read more

I took my fur baby to Gina and she abused her and let her 3 dogs out of the gate and they chewed her up, and when I picked her up she was abusing the other little dogs BEWARE take your puppies to puppy love they are wonderful.... Dropped my dog off for a scheduled appointment and showed up at the scheduled pick up time. My dog was still not groomed. She told me they would start him right away and apologized because they had a dog that took a little longer than expected. So I waited another two hours. My dog was there for five hours and they never groomed him or called to let me know. Waisted my whole day. Horrible communication and time management. read more

I can't believe this place is still in business. The owner is the rudest lady I have ever met. I dropped my dog off at noon. I was told it would take one to two hours at the most. She told me I did not have time to run back to Bandon and come back and she would only keep my dog for 10 minutes after she was done she was going to close. Well, I came back at 2 o'clock to pick the dog up after hanging around and she hadn't even started. I asked her once again if I could go to Bandon as I needed to do some errands that's when she went off saying she doesn't run her shop on my time. I should take my dog and leave. At this point she had her helper crying and I just walked out the door and sat in my truck. Later, her helper came out and apologized, saying she didn't know what was wrong with the owner. We have taken our giant schnauzer Lucy to Three Rivers a couple of times and they do an excellent job. Schnauzers are not the easiest to groom, especially the big ones. I'm picky about my pets and I also appreciate it that they are nice to us humans as well. read more

I cannot say enough positive things about Three Rivers Grooming! They are absolutely WONDERFUL! I first called them to explain that we are traveling every 3 months and my fur baby, Chuy, bit the groomer in Albuquerque. He was abused by a male and does not take kindly to men he does not know. They said no problem, they'd give him a go. Not only was his cut and everything grooming PERFECT, but they were so loving, kind n gentle with him as well. We were delighted that Three Rivers accepted our sweet ole boy as a dog client. We've had one heck of a time finding a groomer that we were happy with , that didn't close the business, or just denied us because our standard poodle "is too big." Unfortunately, this meant our boy went too long between grooming and I imagine was a bit of a challenge due to matting. Given this, they did a fantastic job of cleaning him up, getting all the excess hair off, and making him look like a poodle again! We half expected that they might charge more given his condition but they kept to the standard rate! Additionally, they stuck with the time frame we were given and staff were friendly and informative. I highly recommend this business for your dog grooming needs! read more

It was our first time going here, and I would say the service is average. We had an 11 am appointment, and it took them 3 hours to give my boy a bath and a nail trim(not a haircut). He seemed clean, nails done well. But if you are looking for a place with warm friendly customer service, this isn't it. Unfortunately, because I place pretty high value on that(because if they aren't friendly to me, are they to my dog??)I won't be going back. I also asked for a receipt, never received one. I just drove three hours from Lincoln City to get my dog groomed in Coos Bay for my appointment I booked a week ago. I was not new to this business when I took our Labradoodle Cooper, to his appointment on 3/10/2020. He had been in before for nails and a hair cut. I was pleased with the results. This time however, I'm not sure who or what happened. When I picked him up he was very docile and that has not changed, almost 24 hours later. He's acting scared and super clingy. This was my first time going for a close cut. We usually embrace his crazy wavy hair, but decided to go with a more "traditional," Labradoodle cut. The only thing I can do at this point is post pictures. I've never seen this horrible of a hair cut. Cooper is always brushed and clean. It's not like we took in, a matted up, mess. I had also told them that he had recently lost his brother (our yellow Lab) and that he has been experiencing separation anxiety. I told them to call me and I would pick him up, if glooming him proved challenging. In no way, did I ever expect this! read more

We took two dogs there this past week and I can not praise this business enough! Both of our dogs were *very* unhappy over being left there for baths and nail trim. If I could give this place zero stars I would! What an awful experience. I called to ask for an appt. for my dog and she says, yes bring him on in. So we get there and she says, we're very slammed but we will get him through as soon as we can. I ask for an appt. because we don't like for our dog to have to sit in a cage! We feel it's unnecessary for more than a half hour if need be. Anyways we waited for over two hours and hadn't heard back so we called and just let her know that if he hadn't been seen yet we were on our way to come pick him up. I seriously don't know what has happened with this place. I have taken my pet there for a number of years. I just experienced the worst service ever. I called to get an ETA since I knew my dog was probably close to being done as I had some errands to run and didn't want to keep them waiting. The gal who answered the phone was quite nice and said my dog was on the table. She then asked the groomer for an ETA. The groomer immediately started yelling in the back ground that she is so over this and I need to get my dog now. Not sure what was going on down there (but appalled that the person grooming my dog would be screaming like that), I immediately went there to get my dog regardless of how far along the grooming was. When they brought my dog out, the owner/groomer immediately told me she wont service my dog again. (because I called for an ETA?) I politely explained I wasn't calling to rush her. She didn't care and continued to yell that she cant handle all the calls/inquiries and basically accusing me that I was the one in the wrong. She seems to forget that she is the customer service business. She could have handled this so differently as I am aware people do have a bad day now and then. They lost another customer today. read more

Wonderful customer service. We brought our boxers in for nail trimming. The owner went right to work asking if we would like her to use the dremel or clippers. What? A choice? Wow, you bet we chose the dremel for our thick nails on the boxers. She talked to each dog very calmly and they did not flinch or freak out at all. Within 15 minutes of walking in we were done. We gladly paid the very reasonable fees and left. We are waiting for the shop to open this morning so we can do it again. Very good grooming service and super great groomer. 10 stars!!! read more

Absolutely love this groomer! My miniture schnauzer HATED going to the groomer. Seriously, HATED it. To the point I only took her a couple times a year. Not anymore!!! She is sooooo relaxed and happy when I pick her up. Great service and a very fair price! On another note...if reading reviews I always take the negative with a grain of salt and remember there are 2 sides to every story. My THREE RIVERS GROOMERS experience and it must be said because I was not at fault. I took my Husky there for second time......1st time was great, second time was sort of funny but I picked my pup up and she told me my dog excreted his anal glands on her and bit through the crate, one I don't crate my dog, but I asked if she wanted me to pay for it, she said no. So she changed the price from 40 to 60.00. Second she had no way for me to pay through square, so I suggested messenger through FB. I showed her how and I sent money to her, we'll on her end, a day later she did not get the payment, but it cleared my bank. So from there messenger rejected her account, so she told me it was getting returned to me by Facebook in 3 to 5 days and to pay her. This was last week Thursday, so I have to wait for pending mode to clear and I was going to pay her. Come Monday I have a police call me telling she is going to report theft of services, my head is spinning so I tell him what's going on, he's all understanding. So I message her and tell her since she did that she needs to send me certified invoice to keep it all legal and she wanting to come to my work and I say No, I now know my dog clearly does not like her and I don't want her near him. So Yesterday she sends a lady in a walker wheel chair in my shop demanding money I owe her, she never said who she was other than she works for Gina. I tell her she needs to leave and not giving her anything and calls me a bitch and I'm this aweful person blah blah, yup I called security for harassment but she left on her own. 30 min later I get a call from the police AGAIN saying I won't return jewelry of hers she left in my shop and I go through the whole thing again saying I've stole nothing. She never tells the officers the transaction that took place either. The officer and I agree that I'm paying her this week and returning what she left. I now believe she did something to my furbaby to react the way he did. So disappointed! read more
