My husband's Harley broke down two weeks ago. A week later he was told his bike is fixed. He picked it up and it broke down again. He had to call a tow again. He picked it up again and it broke down again. He paid $1000 and it's still broken and now they are telling him they can't come get it till Thursday. It is an understatement that they fix their bikes in ample time. This is the 3rd time his bike broke down. I don't understand how they can take people's money and not check the bike completely. Their repair dept. is incompetent. No one should have to go through this from where they purchased the bike! Shame on you! read more

Traded my Fat Boy in 2016 for a Road King from TRH and the process was a hassle but buying a vehicle always is. The sales team was nice enough. At that time they took you around to all the departments and introduced you to the counter people for parts and service and clothes etc. I've been getting my bike serviced there on and off for years but they've really upped their game. Rick who is a great sevice manager and now they added Sarah who seems on point too are just really impressive. The fast lane service program is unbelievable when you're your used to waiting days for basic maintenance. I've read a lot of negative reviews about the dealership but I've never had a major issue or felt ripped off or cheated. As I stated Rick the service manager has always made me feel that I got a fair price and great service. They even wash your bike for you. Hot damn. read more

Purchased a 2016 Road Glide Ultra 1 year ago: purchased the 2 year extended warrantee. Thank god I did!!!! After a comprehensive inspection by the dealership and being tagged as road ready ..... couldn't have been further from the truth . Fast forward to this month : exhaust leak and a bad / broken mid pipe exhaust hanger ( which the hanger was broken on purchase) it was revealed to me the " 100%Bike warrantee" did not cover the exhaust because it was after market and was not " grandfathered" . Funny how this was not explained to me on purchase. It was explained to me that if anything went wrong , it would be fixed ..... except the exhaust. Double check everything on the bike, and get in writing that EVERYTHING is covered. They got me, hope they don't get you. My husband and I purchased a 2023 street glide beginning of summer and took it in for the 1k service recently. After getting the bike back it started acting up and we were told nothing was wrong with it even though my husband knew something was definitely wrong. Someone else in service rode the bike and they realized what he was talking about. The bike was in service for 1 month and there were maybe 2 instances where we were called and given updates unless we called them. We were told that the sales manager was supposed to be the one contacting us and he had no clue about the situation or bike and had to look it up. We got to the point we started calling Harley Davidson customer support instead so they could read the notes to us put in by the service department. The motor was taken out from what we were told. We just got the bike back yesterday with grease residue all over the chrome, the heads of the bolts are chewed up that are put into the motor, there was one bolt between the two heads that isn't even put in the whole way and you can clearly see threads, and better yet-the shifter was obviously taken off to access the side case and the bolt holding the shifter was barely threaded on. This is a motorcycle that could easily kill someone and there are loose bolts and we are at the point we don't even feel safe riding our bike and it is parked in the garage. Nothing like paying for something that isn't going to be used now. We will never be going back for any service here. Such a shame for it being such a nice store. read more

Found a bike online and processed app to get it bought online. Finance manager and facility manager failed to mention the necessary requirements for getting my bike shipped to me and dinged my credit over an application they called and said they couldn't use. The manager then went into talking to me about 9/11 laws that applied no forward movement whatsoever. They then wanted me to run another application through my bank which I wanted to do in the first place. Now I have a ding on my credit and no bike purchased, and was RUDLY treated and talk down to and over from the manager. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE, they are idiotic at best. read more

Beware of this entire dealership. I have been in dealerships all over the United States for everything from bike purchasing, service and just stopping points while traveling. This dealership should be avoided at all costs for any reason. We were attempting to buy a bike from them and ended up spending many hours inside the dealership before the sale failed due to the incompetence on their part. So unfortunately i had several hours sitting around witnessing these claims first hand. This is a systemic problem with the entire staff there. This is not just one bad experience with one employee. They are shady, they lie to your face, they are condescending they ignore the customers that walk in the front door. Just know, even if you only call the sales staff on the phone to ask questions, they Will be making disrespectful, derogatory condescending remarks among themselves as soon as you hang up the phone. I really hope that new to Harley riders have a chance to experience the Harley Davidson experience through ANY other dealership before crossing paths with these people because they do NOT CARE. Oh and did I mention they will try to scam you on a bike purchase. We have had many great Harley experiences but if this was my first experience with Harley, I would never step foot in another Harley dealership anywhere. read more

My Harley was purchased from a Harley dealership in Upstate New York, and came with an extensive third-party warranty. When I moved to Pittsburgh, the bike failed to start, so I called Three Rivers to have it towed. Once the bike got there, they told me they wouldn't be able to look at it for about two weeks because they were so backed up. Okay, no problem. After the two weeks, I called to see if there was any word and they told me they hadn't gotten to it yet. I said okay, but I wanted to let them know that I talked to the warranty company and they were more than happy to work with Three Rivers and cover the cost of repair, all the dealership had to do was fax the invoice of repairs to the warranty company. They told me there was no way they were going to work with that company. They said they had never worked with it before, and they didn't want anything to do with it. They left me stranded with the bike because they were inconvenienced with the warranty situation, even though the warranty company was more than happy to pay them in full the same day. I ended up having to pay to have it towed to another Harley dealership (Steel City) who were extremely helpful with the repair and the transport. I was really disappointed that, as a Harley owner who bought directly from a Harley dealership, I was treated like an outsider and was left out to dry. read more

I Bought a pre owned 2009 street glide off there showroom floor Jan 1st 2022 the bike broke down Aug2, 2022.The throttle body went bad they said. Ok no problem just order another an fix it. But after two weeks I didn't receive a call about my bike repairs, I called three rivers. I was told that there was a back order on that part. I waited 3 weeks still no part. I contacted the parts manager Cheryl who told me that the part may be back ordered for months. So I contacted the General Manager Lisa? Who told me Harley parts are hard to get an that Cheryl was correct about the part. So I immediately contacted other dealerships local an out of state who told me that the part was active an available. I then call Lisa again who assured me the other Harley dealers were incorrect an not telling the truth. So I sat by another 30 days still no part from 3 Rivers. So I did some investigating myself. I contacted Harley Davidson Corporation in Wisconsin an they told me the part is available . Lisa general manager 3 Rivers told me that if Cheryl an 3 Rivers couldn't get the part then NO ONE could. Well that was obviously a lie. But I didn't understand why they would lie to a good customer who just spent $16,000. There parts department is absolutely TERRIBLE. They lied to my face an the General Manager backed them up. I was able to obtain this part in 4 days after just a little bit of research. They could have gotten this part for me if they really wanted to. But why did they treat me like this? Makes me wonder, I am a Black man..The service department did a wonderful job fixing my bike after I obtained the supposed unattainable part. Anthony in service did a great job. Cheryl the parts manager lied an so did the general manager Lisa?. I have the proof that they intentionally deceived me. Just don't know why. There's no reason to do that to me. If I could give them a Zero I would. They broke a part on my brothers bike and wanted him to pay 900+ to fix it. He had to take it to another Harley dealer to get it fixed and they did it for 225.00, and 3 Rivers wouldn't pay the bill saying the bike came in that way. My brother showed them in there own notes that they don't mention the problem until the next day. We will never go back. Steel City Harley is our new dealership. read more

I'm from WA state and I brought my motorcycle in to Three Rivers Harley because of a noise I heard in the primary. Anthony said my compensator needed to be replaced so I said do it. They called later and said my rotor stinks and needed replacing while we are in there. I said it only had 5k on it and was still putting out 14 volts. He said yah but the wire is pinched. I said do it. The next day they call me and tell me that my head pipe separated from the flange and needs to be replaced. 650.00 + 250 install. I said it was not like that when I brought it in and they said they didn't do it. I said no, leave it and when I picked it up it was completely separated from the head. So loud there is no way it was that way when I brought it in. I took the pipe off and drove it to Steel City Harley. They welded the flange back on and I put the pipe back on. Took and bill to 3 river Harley and they would not make it right. I come to Pittsburgh to visit family often and will never return to Three Rivers Harley. Stay away from these guys! read more

I've ridden my Harley from So Cal to DC and back and this year from Pennysylvania to California (shipped it one way) I usually stop at most of the HD's to pick up a pin for my friend. The employees at this shop were by FAR the most rude and unhelpful I've come across in my travels. ( In fact, I'm going to go back and compliment the good ones!) Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but I walked in everyone stared and no one spoke--I actually had to check my zipper!! I walked around the entire store just looking, and finally asked where the pins were. The older female clerk in clothing just stared like I was speaking a foreign language. After a few awkward moments, the younger brunette clerk smiled and told me they were in a broken cookie jar on the counter. She did carry on a very short conversation and smiled, which is why I gave two stars--I've never experienced anything like this at a Harley Dealership. I ride a Harley because I believe in buying American when possible and because my dealings with HD people up to this point have been positive...maybe there was bad news that day?? Don't know, but I don't expect to be treated like this by HD people. read more

This review is based purely on the experiences I've had with the service adviser Rick, his boss service manager Tom, and the Controller at 3 Rivers HD. The bottom line is the management team is ruining the business. My motorcycle's rear wheel assembly was cosmetically and partially functionally damaged by the local Cycle Gear store when I went there for tire mounting. I traveled to 3 Rivers HD to get an estimate to have them build me an entire new wheel as it was a total loss with every component of my wheel being damaged. This did not go smoothly from day one. First, the estimate was provided incomplete - the brake disk was left off and it was implied by Rick that it was my mistake somehow later on. I showed him that he included the bolts to hold the disk on and he then realized it was his mistake. I didn't care for that implication of blame. I caught the estimate error while already at the Cycle Gear store shortly after getting it and I told CG to not use the estimate, requested they call Rick for an updated one. Of course they turned in the incomplete estimate and this is no fault of 3 Rivers HD, that store is even more incompetent (see my full review of that store on yelp). Cycle Gear HQ in California paid the original estimate amount by phoning in a credit card payment and Rick called to tell me I had a store credit for about $1080 under my name. He wanted to schedule an appointment but I alerted him of the situation about the payment not covering the damage entirely and said I might need help getting an updated estimate / dealing with the paying party and he said he could help. At the same time he told me that if I wanted, I could use the money to buy new apparel, put it towards a new motorcycle, or anything I wanted because I had a store credit that would wait for my orders to use it. Sounds like insurance fraud to me... but regardless, I needed a wheel. Instead, I worked with Rick to change the original estimate by agreeing to do the labor I could myself which reduced the total almost enough to cover the cost of the brake rotor. I was done with dealing with Cycle Gear's incompetence so I asked we proceed without them. This was a Monday afternoon. I was told parts would arrive Friday or the next Monday. The following Wednesday, I called and was told by Rick "The parts just showed up." I contacted Cycle Gear and requested they ship a tire over to HD because at this point I'd been without a bike for 3 weeks and felt it was owed to me for compensation. Rick said he'd have his guys mount the tire for me, I said Cycle Gear would pay for it. A week later, again on Wednesday, I called and was told by Rick that the tire showed up that day when Cycle Gear claims it was dropped off the Friday prior. Seems like every time I call to remind them about me I got told "the parts just arrived." Coincidence? Doubt it. I asked if Cycle Gear had contacted them to arrange for payment of the balance as I requested them do and I was told they had not. Rick asked who would be paying and I said that I intended to get CG to, but if it wasn't paid for when it was ready, I would pay upon picking the wheel and deal with Cycle Gear later. I specifically gave instructions to call me as soon as the wheel was ready. On Friday Cycle Gear - NOT 3 RIVERS HD - called to tell me they had my wheel and making demands before I could have it! Why 3 Rivers HD would give away my property was beyond my grasp. I called Tom and 3 Rivers and had a chat. I explained I was the customer. I had the work order created under my name, my bike's VIN, etc. and I was baffled why they gave away MY property. I said "Imagine if I was hit by a car on my bike. The car's insurer pays you guys for the damage to be repaired. When the bike is fixed would you hand it over to the guy who was driving the car? Because that's what you've essentially done to me." Tom called Cycle Gear and was fed a line of BS from them that he took for bible and refused to help me acquire my property from Cycle Gear claiming "They paid for it, they own it" and ignoring the fact that they paid for work requested by me, the bike owner, acting as their own insurance company. Tom told me the "controller" of 3 Rivers HD reviewed the situation and informed him that they had done the right thing. It took police intervention and threats of a lawsuit against Cycle Gear to get them to hand over the wheel - all made possible by the constant mishandling of the situation by Rick, the service service adviser of 3 Rivers HD and his boss. I have had service performed by the competent mechanics of 3 Rivers, purchased clothing from the helpful ladies in apparel, I've talked to salesman who were nothing but cool when I was shopping for a bike, and I've also bought several parts from the great folks in the parts department. But, as a result of the headache created by the these two individuals and "the controller" - I won't give 3 Rivers HD another dime of my money. read more
