Zoe had to deal with my frantic calls this morning and has gone above and beyond to get it all sorted, even though she's been rushed off of her feet on her own. I'm very grateful that such a lovely genuine person has been dealing with me as I'm not sure many people would care quite as much. Collection of the car was easy, everything was explained well and Zoe was friendly and professional despite having to deal with a rude customer raising his voice at her before seeing us. We added an additional driver on the day, which was again quick and easy. There was also a massive queue behind us, with just one person dealing with them all! I really hope you manage to keep hold of her Avis, as there are not many people working in Customer Services that are the same calibre anymore.

We did end up accepting a automatic (small class of vehicle) but when we returned the car to the lot our weekly upcharge was almost as much as the original weekly charge for the car even tho it was the same class of vehicle. I tried to dispute it at the return lot but English was a second language for the person I was dealing with that day and we had a flight to catch. Upon my return home I disputed the charge w Avis through my credit card however Avis would not respond nor offer a compromise. My credit card company revised the credit advising me they had MANY complaints regarding AVIS UK SO BEWARE! Do NOT RENT FROM AVIS UK!

Michael called the offices on the bus's route to try to get me a car from one of those instead. When he couldn't find one, he arranged to pick me up the next morning and bring me to the office, which he did. One of the other guys at the office even suggested a reputable taxi company I could use to get from the coach station to my accommodation. All in all they were a huge help when I was in a difficult situation and did everything in their power to help me out. They get 5 stars from me for providing exceptional service.

Where do I begin?!, they charged me for 2 windscreen wipers, when they only fitted one…read more Misdiagnosed a grumbling underneath my bonnet (as they thought it was the alternator at first).. turned out it was the water pump but still charged me for the alternator even though I didn't need/want it! Oh and then didn't tighten the fan belt enough so it kept slipping. They also wanted to keep my car for 3 days because they had ordered the wrong parts..I do have to go to work...especially to pay this bill! They also told me that my catalyst was well and truly broken, and would fail MOT, then quoted me a ridiculous amount for a new catalyst. (I later got mine tested at another garage and it was fine.. even passed MOT). And last but not least, the lovely crack in my bumper they left for me to find. I honestly don't know why anyone would go there, prices are really high and the staff are disgusting (both looking and the way they act)
