Thrifty Tails Boutique is a nonprofit thrift boutique offering quality second-hand and vintage items. The shop carries a curated selection of gently used and vintage clothing, pet-related goods, small home décor, artwork, jewelry, and low-cost brand-new items. There is limited staff members working. Very courteous and friendly staff. Tidy and neat store. Net proceeds support their mission to save and improve the lives of pets through adoption, community spay/neuter, and humane education programs. Additionally, net proceeds will support our community support programs, including our Community Pet Pantry, Community Pet Financial Assistance, Humane Education, and Pet Assisted Therapy programs. Nice little thrift store. Friendly and helpful employees. Clean, well organized. Not a tremendous amount of items. Enough for a quick perusal. Prices are low. I bought 3 golf shirts, two golf caps for $22. All of the items were new. Earnings go to support the SPCA Placer county. I heart that. read more

Great thrift shop with decent selection and good discounted prices. Found several items over multiple visits. Items were in great condition. The staff were plentiful, helpful, and were constantly cleaning. The store was spatious so items were not crammed together. Racks were well-organized and labeled so easier to look through and find items. read more

Hands-down, one of my favorite thrift stores I've ever frequented.. definitely the best in town. They usually have very fair prices and when they don't seem fair, the staff will normally work with you. They really are dedicated to supporting the animals and I feel like my money is going towards a good cause. The Managment is amazing. They are always willing to help with a smile on their face and in general are just nice to talk to. That being said they don't have as many items as your normal jumbo overpacked thrift store (what can you expect in a tourist town) but they do have really good quality items at great prices. 10/10 recommend read more

I'm an avid thrifter and not impressed by this store. I saw many items in disrepair that should have never been for sale. Also their racks are half empty, which is unusual for a thrift store; seems like they do not get a lot of donations. Prices are on the high side. Will not be coming back. read more

What an awesome thrift gem! Was looking for a warmer winter coat, but didn't want to pay a hefty price. Stopped at Thrifty Tails Boutique today and found an awesome 100% down LL Bean jacket, a LL Bean beanie, a Roxy neck warmer, and a Life is Good beanie. They also had a fun sale going on where if you spent $30, you could pick an Easter egg and see if you get a coupon. I scored 20% off my purchase! Made it even better. The store is clean, organized, smells nice, and has a wide assortment of items. Everything was in great condition. The woman working the counter was very friendly, too. We will be back! read more

I'm a thrifter through and through. I love finding a great deal especially when it's unexpected. Thrifty Tails has only been open a couple of months and gets new inventory in every day. They have a decent selection of pretty much everything and they keep it organized by putting 'like with like' items which is great because any true thrifter knows, it helps if you don't have to dig through a pile to find the treasures. The staff is talkative and helpful and the home goods section had great pricing. BTW, they don't put price tags on all the individual items and instead price it in sections. "Glasses, $2", "Framed pictures $4" etc. Saves them time so they don't have to price each piece and also makes it easy for the customer to figure out pricing too. I likeeee this system and wish more thrift stores operated this way. I didn't find anything that I just HAD to have but I'll definitely visit again the next time I'm in the area, you never know what you'll find when inventory is added every day. this place was pretty cute i found a lot of cute things for a very good price. the workers there were very sweet, friendly. i would definitely come back here. Dogs are welcome which is very nice, they also help dogs that are homeless, you can round up your total to help/ donate !! read more

Finally got a chance to check out the thrift store and I am so glad I did! It actually could become dangerous! Very dangerous at least for my wallet :-) or the storage situation in my house. I'm not sure which one. Anyhow, the prices are exceedingly reasonable, everything is so well organized and easy to find, and they have good quality thrift items. Some practical, some eclectic, some seem vintage, All in good functional working condition and aesthetically pleasing. I definitely recommend this thrift store! read more

They had a nice variety of things at good prices. We bought some great clothing and found some backpacks at a really good price.

So much great stuff, it's really hard to choose! I've been here multiple times and each time they ALWAYS have a bunch of fun, new, and different things. Everything I've seen and purchased is in super good shape too. Plus, they have donation hours, so you can make some room first. read more
