My family and I went out to find a Christmas tree like we always do every year. We typically go to…read moreApple Hill but wanted to try a different place so we venture out to Snowy Peaks Christmas Tree Farm. We walk for at least an hour through the trees to find a barren land with poorly shaped trees in terrible condition. So we end up buying a pre-cut tree for double the price (which they import in from a different location). The tree is put on top of the car by seemingly teenagers and only a mile down the road, it falls off the car. So now I have to pull over just to secure the tree back on the car. Here we are, on December 21 and the tree has fully died, despite rushing it home and immediately putting it in water after cutting the trunk. This place seems to be run poorly and maybe even sets up a model for people to end up buying their more expensive, dying, pre-cut trees. They have surely made a Christmas memory for me I won't forget.

Cons: seems just wild forest and not maintained area with clear view for each tree. Other trees have blocked even growth of the tree. Many tree as just new branches of previously cut trees and are very high, like 7ft high to even cut. Hard to tell what the tree will look like. Many trees have fewer or every uneven length branches. Hot cider provided, packing just a dollar. Very nice staff, pleasant and welcoming. So, it's forest from where you can pick a wild tree. Some picks here even show quite well how the trees look like. Went for the cut-your-tree experience and that we had. Glad that this kind of places still exists!

My…read morefamily had been going the past few years and because of work I hadn't been able to partake in the magic until this year. It's a cute little Christmas tree farm nestled in the woods. The owner and all the staff are polite, cheerful, genuinely friendly and so very helpful. They have trucks to take you up to where the trees are and you get to pick one out and cut it yourself. It was such a fun experience for my almost 2 year old who loved the cars and running around in the woods. Obviously prices will be higher than just going to Home Depot for a free but it is so worth it for the fun outdoor experience and memories my family got to make. Needless to say I was over joyed with my experience and can't wait to go back next year.

Rude kid at the check out. Tried charging $90 for a 14" tree we wanted for the kids room. Said it's…read more$90 no matter the size and was an absolute snot nosed brat. He acted angry, kind of weird actually. Caught us off guard. Even the kid working with him looked baffled and kinda shook his head. We went down the street to Carson Ridge Evergreens, bought a tree and they threw in a small tabletop one for free. We didn't expect that! Someone needs to teach that kid to shut his big mouth and learn him some manners.
