My doctor is in this building, so this is the pharmacy that I use regularly. They do a pretty good…read morejob. They are usually running behind, so even though it takes about twenty minutes after the prescription is sent to get down there, I always have to wait. They are always surprised that I'm picking up right now. Maybe most people don't, or they can't see that I was just at the doctor? I'm not sure which, but there is definitely a communication gap somewhere. They used to have a large selection of gifts, but this has gradually been phased out, and there is very little in that section anymore. Happily, this is because they sell more OTC medication, which makes sense. They also sell vitamins and I often get an essential oil. They have Nature's Truth brand. I would love to see them carry some healthy foods. I'm often here in the morning and haven't eaten. I saw that they have almonds, but they only have the heavily salted ones.

(Copyright of United Brands) premium butane that I've always preferred at sound $10 with a good deal of buy 1, get 1 free. After looking at my debit card statement, I noticed I was billed twice at around $20 each time. The only thing I bought was 2 cans of butane for the price of 1 (printed right on the can) at $10.99 and 2 tiny little boxes of Mike & Ike. So I was not only double-billed, but also paid for both cans of butane. Also the guy, who never smiled and seemed bothered to have to wait on a customer, told us the MN State Lotto scratch-offs tickets were closed for the night (at 8:30 pm?). We went to Holiday on Silver Lake Road immediately after we left the smoke shop to try again redeeming our lotto winners and buy some more and didn't have any problems. Clearly, the smoke shop dude couldn't be bothered and just blew us off and then proceeded to rip me off for standard butane. Unbelievable. Columbia Smoke Shop sucks. Never again. And I spend tons of cash at smoke shops, but not here. I'll tell my 50+ fellow veterans living in my building to avoid this shop at all costs. Who's fault is that? The guy at the counter who made us feel like foreigners in our native country and ripped me off. Great Job!

I live in Lindstrom, and Thrifty White Pharmacy is my go-to for cards, gifts, over the counter…read moremedications, everyday cosmetic items, office-type products, and friendly, helpful service. They are well stocked with a wide variety items including some sewing and craft items, a huge array of marvelous gifts and significant number of baby items, children's games and toys. They are also amazing supporters of the community, volunteering significant staff time to provide flu and Covid immunizations at the annual Age Well Expo every October, which they do enthusiastically every year. I don't think enough people in the community realize how many amazing gift items they stock there. The pharmacists are friendly and helpful. It is a true community treasure.

I had a really frustrating experience with an employee named Liam at Walmart. I forgot my card, so…read moreI was going to send money to my friend so he could pay for our items, but his phone had died. We went to customer service and asked if he could briefly use a charger so we could get his phone back on and pay. Liam told us no and wouldn't let us use one, even though other employees told us that using a charger at customer service was allowed. It honestly felt like Liam was being difficult for no reason. We weren't asking for anything unreasonable--we were literally trying to find a way to PAY for our items. A little understanding and basic customer service would have solved the whole situation in a few minutes. Instead, Liam made something simple unnecessarily frustrating. Definitely disappointed with how we were treated.

Tracy has trained me well and problem solved many times so I am successful in my therapy. I have needed Aron the respiratory therapist twice for complex issues with myself or the equipment. Aron fully addressed each and every issue. Mike at technical assistance in the New Hope main office also hit the nail on the head the first time when I had an issue. I am thankful and proud to be a customer of this company. Tracy makes a extra personal effort to be good to people and this takes time. She is a very valuable employee. Sometimes I wonder if she is the only one at the store that does my therapy system because it seems she does everything by herself and I am very thankful for the continuity of care. Beware of CHM warranties, my elderly family member received her Golden electric lift chair in…read moreDecember of 2024, in the fall of 2025 the electric remote stopped working and it was replaced the same day ( thanks to Ron from CHM Fridley) on Monday September 14th 2026 the new remote again stopped working. I brought the new remote to CHM Fridley and talked to Samantha at the desk. She told me she had no record of the of the remote that I was given in the fall of 2025 and that I would have to purchase a new remote for $ 78.00 or wait to talk to Ron on Tuesday the following day. I explained to her the remote and all electronic parts for the lift chair are covered under the 3 year warranty and I tried to show her the proof of warranty that I had with me. She dismissed me like I was a foolish old man that didn't understand their warranty that she stated was only 1year on remotes. My family member relies on her lift chair to help her get into her wheelchair so I had to pay the $78.00 on Wednesday September 16th back at CHM I spoke with Ron who again stated the warranty is only 1year on electrical parts. I showed him the 3 year proofs of warranty I had so he called the corporate office and was told yes indeed it is a 3 year warranty on chair electrical parts and I should get a refund for $78.00 ( I was told checks in the mail) what amazes me is how can employees that have been there for years not understand or know the warranties for the expensive products that are sold mainly for and to elderly consumers and how many have been scammed in the past. Thank you Ron for your help now you understand the 3year warranty. Samantha try working on your customer relations and interaction with the elderly we're not fools, and by the way you were wrong all 3 times I spoke with you.
