If you read no further than this sentence know that if you are in need of a chiropractor, or think you're in need of a chiropractor, this office is worth giving a try. I had been suffering from daily headaches that left my face feeling numb and my neck extremely stiff for two years. My primary doctor found nothing wrong. I sought relief with massages and spent hundreds of dollars trying to get relief. I had to try something new. However, I have extreme anxiety when it comes to meeting with doctors and was terrified to set up a consultation here. Clearly I did and it changed the quality of life. Within one visit my headaches became less frequent. I've had about 15 adjustments now and have been headache free. Setting up the appointment was easy and the next step was to fill out an online questionnaire about my health history and pain. This was the most in-depth review I have seen from a healthcare provider and it was clear that the information was reviewed and taken in to consideration by Dr. Stevens as he laid out my treatment. I was pleased to discover that visual and physical tools are used to figure out what's going on. The X-ray (in office) showed my spine was crooked and my neck was messed up. Finally, a reason I felt awful all of the time! Before the adjustment I needed reassurance that Dr. Stevens wasn't going to twist my body or break my neck. I was assured by him and his staff who were patient and gentle with my anxiety. The adjustment takes place on a table that seems to eliminate the need to do manual manipulation (at least for me). It's fast, too! The table takes longer to lower than it does to be adjusted. It's great! I have also never waited more than 3 minutes to be seen. This place is efficient and I frequently started my lunch breaks with an adjustment with plenty of time to spare. Dr. Stevens is patient and really aims to make sure his patient understands why there's an issue and how it'll be treated. The ladies on his staff are as equally fantastic. My emails are returned immediately and appointments are always accommodated. They even accommodated me when I was going to arrive after they closed because I was coming from out of town. As a patient I feel valued and cared for. Obviously I can't say enough about Life Chiropractic. I went here because of really bad neck pain that just wouldn't go away. Ever since I started getting adjusted (first time) I want to keep going! I wish the rating scale went higher because, five stars are not enough for DR Bruce and his staff. Prior to me being seen by Life Chiropractors, I had negative experiences with other chiropractic care which left a long lasting bad feeling about all Chiropractic care as well as physical therapy. I thought I was doomed to live with moderate to major back pain for the rest of my life however; a friend of mine suggested I see the office of Life Chiropractic (DR. Bruce) because she had been in their care for a while and they are the best. Because my mind was already made up about past experiences, I thanked her and kind of brushed her suggestion off for a while. During this time, I was bouncing around different locations to find any place other than chiropractic, pain management or physical therapy to help assess what the root cause of this horrible feeling in my lower back. After a month of waiting for my primary care doctor at (Sansum) to be available to fully assess me as well as many trips to Urgent Care with the hopes of a "Doctor" to provide a full workup, out of frustrations, I finally gave in and decided to go check this Life Chiropractor place out. I was incredibly blown away after the first appointment with DR. Bruce and his staff. The very first day, DR. Bruce and team, had a plan of attack and they wanted to get started right away. Of course, the negative history came up in my mind but, something about this place was different. Dr. Bruce recommended to review X-ray's and I'm thinking oh great, this will take forever because I must go to Sansum to get my charts and imaging but, wait, Dr. Bruce has an X-ray machine at his office and we are able to get the imaging right then and there as well as discuss what they see as their initial assessment. This to me was mind blowing to me because I have never been to a chiropractic appointment that had the ability to assess an X-ray imaging in less than 20 minutes and come up with a plan of attack. I decided to give them a try and put my past experiences under the rug for now. I have been in their care for a couple months and I can honestly and whole heartily say, the pain that was so severe, has almost entirely gone away and I am now able to perform most duties without worrying how bad I will be hurting right after doing something as simple as pulling weeds. So, very long story short :), without a doubt, if you have any hesitations about seeing a chiropractor but, also have the pain that you think will never go away, please go see Life Chiropractic (Dr. Bruce and Staff) right away and have them go through the process of assessment. Hopefully they can come up with a plan to help out if not, they will provide suggestions on what course of action should be taken . I was in a car accident and sustained a neck injury. I was referred to Life Chiropractic by my lawyer, and to be completely honest I was so afraid of going to the Chiropractor I did not want to go. I am SO glad that I did! Dr. Stevens is so gentle, and made me feel so comfortable! He has helped me so much, I don't think I could thank him enough for all he's done to improve my quality of life! I've been seeing chiropractors my whole life. Dr Bruce is one of the most gentle and effective ones I've ever been to. It was so nice to find him the first time soon after we moved. My mom started taking us kids to a chiropractor when we were very young, so I have had a lifetime experience of Chiropractors and I can say Dr. Bruce is the best. He is quick yet thoroughly effective. I for one do not have a lot of time to spend getting an adjustment. He will take time out to answer any and all your questions, no matter how busy the waiting room is. I highly recommend Dr. Bruce first and foremost before considering surgery.
