I've had nothing but good experiences over the last 8 years of using Lompoc Valley. Our doctors are…read moreall with Lompoc Valley and I've been to the various labs and radiology and talked to their billing and even been to the ER a couple times and always been pleasantly pleased with the staff, doctors and facilities. The conscientious treatment and personal attention has been noteworthy. Of course its possible at any medical center to occasionally get a snarky receptionist or a stressed and rude nurse or doctor, but I just haven't had that here and I would rate them as well above average compared to my lifelong experience else where in CA and the US.

This was the worst experience. I grew up in a hospital because my mother had been a case management…read morenurse for over 40 years, I've also worked in hospitals myself for years. I'm so glad I've had some training to help prevent further damage before EMT even showed up. I OD the other night lightly nothing crazy but enough my heart stopped. No point was I given an IV EVEN THOUGH I had clear signs of severe dehydration. I was made to wait even though it's part of the big four you're supposed to take a patient in for. (Heart, eyes, blood, or breathing) but I waited next to the nurses station even the EMT were surprised. I got asked a couple questions and given some pills. That was it. After I was asked to wait in the waiting room, not a problem I know the ER is ment for quick turn overs, but even though I was in just boxers and a shirt no shoes nothing she said I could wait with a blacket it was fine. After so gave her a weird look the lady reluctantly went and got disposable socks and pants. Crazy experience.

As a 51 year old woman who has had several doctors throughout her life, I cannot say enough good…read morethings about Dr. Liebo. She is the first doctor who has taken the time to learn about me as a whole person who has medical issues instead of as a case file. She has done deep dives into the findings of all of my specialists to create a comprehensive understanding of all that is going on with me and how to best address each thing and the whole. It may sound odd, but instead of finding excuses to reschedule, I actually look forward to exploring options with Dr. Liebo. I know that she will give me her full attention, care, and expertise. If I could give her more than five stars, I would!

Less of a review and more of a warning, or heads up to potential patients. If you're having…read morenon-emergency chest pains DO NOT MENTION IT. They will use it as an excuse to not see you. I tried to make an appointment for a lingering cough and mentioned that I've also had some accompanying pains in my lungs. They immediately told me the wouldn't see me and that I would have to go to the ER. The excuse to avoid giving me any sort of care is that they "dont have the equipment for that sort of emergency" but It's clearly not an emergency as I'm walking, talking, and making an appt for a future date. I know nothing will change there as its government-run so theres no sort of oversight or quality control, but I want to make sure prospective patients know what to not say so they don't end up in my situation

Before I begin my story, I have never met a more competent surgeon who was very thorough, kind and…read morepatient with me. He's an excellent doctor. About 2 years ago I was feeling really tired, fatigued and mentally defeated.I just considered it with getting older. I was put on medical leave by a different doctor thinking I was having anxiety issues, which I wasn't. I had missed my wellness checkup by 2 years, neglecting my health. After having my wellness checkup 2 years later, Dr. Kaplan called me into his office and began explaining what was going on with my body concerning my prolaspe. He went into great detail, drew pictures that I could understand and showed me detailed pictures on the computer. He didn't rush through the details. After the visit, I was overwhelmed and a bit nervous about my situation. I thought if I don't go forward with the surgery, things would only get worse for my health. So, Dr. Kaplan proceeded with tests for several weeks explaining my test results and helped to ease my fear and anxiety moving forward with the surgery. Once surgery was completed, Dr. Kaplan came into my room and assured me the surgery went well. The next few weeks were painful but the outcome was fantastic. Dr. Kaplan restored my health both mentally and physically. My post op appointment went smooth. I'm very pleased of the outcome. Dr. Kaplan is a truly outstanding urogynocologist.

He started out cordial and knowledgeable. After going through my surgery, (6 procedures) I had…read morecomplications and had a difficult time reaching him, or even getting a callback. I'm 10 weeks out and I have new issues that I didn't have before. I lost trust and faith in him. I don't think I will be going back, as now I need to find a new physician, this is a rough overview, I have purposefully left out the details
