They are snobby and horrible. What l usually pay for 50 units they charged double and the lines on my forehead are still very much present. When l called they acted like l was bothering them and refused to correct it. I had to then pay more and still am not getting the results. Office manager is completely rude. VERY disappointed at cancellation policy. I called this morning to change my appointment because I am not feeling well. I called around 1030 and my appointment is at 530. I was told that I could change the appointment, but that I would be charged a $50 fee. I can see a fee if I cancelled an hour before coming, but we are talking 7 hours before! I will go to the appointment. Hopefully, no one at the shop gets sick -- that would be a shame. A more reasonable cancellation policy would be in order. Whatever -- they are not the only game in town. At a time when I am sure their business is slower as people struggle in this economy, having a cancellation policy that is this punitive is just -- dumb. I own two businesses and I wouldn't keep customers if I treated MY clients like this. So your response is: WE have a policy and screw our clients. If I am sick you expose your clients AND your staff -- but you clearly do not care. As for "everyone else does it", I can assure you that there are MANY spas in Chattanooga that allow cancellations up to one hour prior to an appointment. You are justifying bad practices. But, of course, how you run your business is your choice. And what I say in reviews is MY choice. Your willingness to expose your clients and your staff to my illness is disgusting. Also, I do notice that you bang on in other comments in your Google Reviews about how "Busy" you are and this is why you have the cancellation policy. The hypocrisy is real. If you were so damn busy, you would have no problem at all filling appointments (and wouldn't need to be on Groupon). You are dismissive and defensive to the negative comments on here. I am regretfully writing this review. After years as a continuing customer - I was given no help with honoring a coupon I paid $200 for 20units of Botox. I purchased the coupon on December 8th from Groupon and when I went in for my apt they could not honor it since it had been less than a year since I last used one. The Groupon expires before the time I could use it again. Thrive said I could get a refund from Groupon since no services were rendered. I submitted a refund claim and Groupon could not refund me because it had been past 3 days of purchase. I explicitly asked the owner if she could make it right and was given no options and she said it "was out of her hands". I will no longer be returning to Thrive. I hope they can fix their customer service and relationship with Groupon. It's the holidays and literally losing $200 can be a big deal to some around this time. I am baffled at Thrive's lack of concern or care for a continuing customer. read more

On the positive side, very clean, nice facility. Very friendly staff. And great location. Areas for improvement: 1) A 60-minute session begins at the time of the appointment/reservation, not when the massage actually begins. Therefore, our 60-minute massage was actually only 45 minutes. 2. We completed arrival forms indicating our areas of interest. The masseuse asked in the room where were our levels of interest are indicating he had not read the form. And then did not address either level during the massage. 3) My wife got her toes massaged during her session. I did not. 4) The room needs towels to wipe off some of the oil after the session. read more

I went to Thrive because I heard that they did Tattoo removal. I have a small tattoo that I wanted removed. I had a consultation and was told that I was a good candidate for the treatment. I was told that they would know more after my 1st treatment. After the treatment I scheduled a second treatment and was told after it heals we can give you an idea on how many treatments I would need. I was told that my body did great and I should only need about 6 treatments. I've just had my 6th treatment and a new technician told me that I would need 6 more at least. She then went on to say that it would never be totally gone. What???? Why would anyone pay to have a tattoo partially removed. I have a very faded tattoo now and can't really stop. I hope that this stops anyone else from using Thrive for tattoo removal. read more

if I could give these ladies more stars i would! I have now been here twice, once for Juverderm lips injections and once for a custom facial. Both experiences were extremely pleasant. During my lip injection apt Kristin was very open about the procedure and listened to all of my concerns and insecurities about my lips and she was showing me every step of the way how everything was coming together and if i liked the overall shape! Needless to say she made the whole thing very comfortable! Second i went in for my custom facial and let me TELL YOU, I have gotten many facials over the years but this one was by far the best! so much care and attention went in to it, she never made me feel like she was in a rush at all, made me feel super relaxed and refreshed. I had to cancel my first appointment because I fell and sprained my ankle. I tried to show up for my second appointment in Chattanooga traffic and could not get them on the phone to let them know I was in traffic and running late . They did try to call Me back 5-10 min LATER after I had turned around to head home and was stuck in traffic once again. This caused me a lot of stress. Low and behold this morning I am charged a $50 late charge. I will never use them again as they are very unprofessional and rude over the phone. I will also never refer anyone there. First off, I have been a loyal and satisfied client of Thrive - partly because of their "beauty bank," a way to add money to an account for future visits. I've had two vampire facials (my pictures are on the site), several botox injections, injections - all amounting to a couple thousand dollars. I am no longer satisfied. I had eyelash extensions a few weeks ago. I asked the consultant to be "subtle" with the extensions but about threw up when she handed me a mirror. I looked like a clown. I asked the woman to trim them and take some off so that wasn't such a freak. When I left the spa, I had adhesive and wayward lashes in my eyes. I had the lashes done on Wednesday and by Friday, I had lashes only on one eye. As I left the shop, I asked that Jodi call me. She didn't call until I texted her on Friday morning and repeated my request that she call. When I talked to her, she did not respond to my complaint that after paying for the lashes on Tuesday, I was lashless on one eye by Friday (I lost all lashes on both eyes by Saturday). In our conversation, she didn't address my complaints with the lashes, but only defended the spa, making certain that I take responsibility for losing the lashes since I asked the eyelash woman to tone them down. This place and the people working in it have zero concept of customer service or how to handle complaints. Horrible experience - I am out the cost of the lashes and Jodi would not even honor the refill for $45 since I had no lashes left. I asked that she refund the $300 in my beauty bank, and she refused to do that. They still have my $300, and I still have no lashes. Plus, Jodi made me feel like I was at fault for not understanding what eyelash extensions were (I have had them before and they were fine then). The biggest problem with this experience is that I realize that these people do not care about their clients. They just want the money. DO NOT TRUST THIS SPA. I wish I had never visited the place. As I said, I am out the cost of the lashes and they still have $300 of my money that they will not refund. This review is purely for the eyelash extensions I got here. This isn't the first time I have gotten lash extensions , but it is the first time I've gotten them from here. I might add that I don't usually leave reviews but because I am from out of town, I feel like writing one might help someone that is looking for a service like this.. First off I paid $200, which is pricey for me but I guess it varies wherever you go. Not the problem. Literally the day I received my lash extensions, they started to fall out in ones and twos. (I might add they were gorgeous.) I've had them now for about a week, and nearly half of them have fallen out. I took great care in brushing my lashes, wearing a eye mask when I slept, and following the tech's instructions; yet this is the result. It seriously bums me out, because the customer service and staff are awesome. This was my experience, unfortunately going elsewhere next time. Expected better with the price I paid. read more

Well, I purchased the microneedling with prp (non-injection at the end.) I've had it done 4x so I knew what to expect. There was a sale going on. I ended up paying double for the normal cost for two areas. I was off on vacation so I had plenty of time for recovery. My face did not change, there was no sunburn effect, there was no symptoms I should have expected from it. The lady did state she doesn't go deep. I reached out to a plastic surgeon and inquired a few others and basically I was told that the methods, length of time during treatment should have yielded a certain amount of symptoms during the healing process and since there were virtually no visible symptoms after 2,3rd day, either her technique or length of time of barely applying pressure did not do anything but cost me time and money. Basically, the technique was poorly executed resulting in no reaults which would require double treatments which would cost double price. read more
