Way Above expectations Awesome work and very hard workers…read moreQuality and Value I had sticker shock at first, but after negotiating a great deal, they have done more than was agreed to, and the quality of their work is SO worth it!! And talking to the workers, most have been there for years, and that' because they treat their guys right and treat them more like family. I can't say enough good stuff about this company and the quality of their work!!

Okay, I don't usually write long reviews, but our backyard turned out so good I had to say…read moresomething. We hired Yavapai Landscaping earlier this year for three things -- Firewise landscaping, a paver patio, and artificial turf -- and honestly the whole experience was great from start to finish. Their free estimate was about 10% higher than others, but knowing they have been in business for over 10 years eased my money worries, and I hired them for their expertise and the assurance they will be here for years to come, unlike many of the landscaping companies we interviewed. So the price was fair, so we hired them on the spot! We live in Talking Rock Golf Club in the Prescott area, and if you've lived here a while, you know defensible space isn't optional; it's just smart. Our backyard had a bunch of overgrown, dried-out brush way too close to the house, and it was stressing me out every fire season. The Yavapai Landscaping crew came out, walked the property with us, and explained exactly what needed to go and what could stay. They swapped out the flammable stuff for native, fire-resistant plants that actually do well in our climate -- agave, penstemon, that kind of thing. It's not just prettier now; it actually feels safer. If you're anywhere in Yavapai County and need Firewise landscaping done by people who actually know the local terrain, these are your people. Next up was the paver patio, and this is honestly what sold me on them long-term. We'd gotten quotes from a couple other companies before, and something about Yavapai's guys just felt more thorough -- they didn't rush the base prep, they took the time to get the drainage right, and the pattern they laid out looks so much better than what I pictured in my head. It's been through a full monsoon season now, and there's zero shifting, no puddling, nothing. Just a solid, good-looking patio that we actually use all the time now instead of avoiding the backyard. And then the artificial turf. I was honestly on the fence about artificial turf for a while -- didn't want it to look fake or feel weird underfoot. But wow, I was wrong to worry. It looks like real grass, it drains great, and my dog is obsessed with it. Also, not gonna lie, watching our water bill drop since we're not irrigating that whole section anymore has been a nice bonus living out here in the high desert. What really made the whole thing easy was just how professional they were throughout. Showed up when they said they would, kept us in the loop if anything changed, and cleaned up every single day before leaving -- no random debris sitting around for weeks. Our project lead was easy to text with questions, which honestly matters more than people realize when you've got a multi-week project happening at your house. Not to sound like a sales pitch, but if you're in Prescott, Prescott Valley, or anywhere nearby and thinking about Firewise landscaping, a paver patio, or turf, just call these guys. We're already talking to them about a front yard refresh next. Can't recommend them enough.

We needed mistletoe removed from trees. Craig showed up on time and did an excellent job from start…read moreto finish including clean up. You can certainly tell he knows his fiImelda and cares about the outcome. Would definitely have him do workforces us again !

Initially we were very impressed with Zebrascapes. We had some sick trees and although it was…read morepricey we didn't want to lose our trees so paid for and received the anti fungal treatment. We decided to hire Zebrascapes for an every other month landscape maintenance. We have 1/2 acre but it's very low maintenance, no fancy trimming just basic light trimming if needed, check irrigation system lines and all heads, make sure automated system is set properly, cleanup debris and spray for weeds when necessary. This very basic stuff wasn't being done. The workers never seemed to know what to do and asked us each time. We hired them to be proactive and bring to our attention what was needed not the other way around. Then when we did ask for something like re-staking a tree that was already staked but needed straightened they said they didn't have the equipment to do that and they said we needed to call the office and request it and they were there on our property! I prearranged for them to cut a small dead limb off a tree and I showed it to them and then when they were about to drive away I went out to check and it had not been done. I caught them and they said they forgot. Our automatic irrigation was affected by a breaker switch and reset to off and we were unaware and the crew failed to check to see that it was working like they are supposed to per our agreement so our trees and plants didn't get water for a month! If we ourselves didn't figure it out who knows how long it would have gone without water. Ultimately after leaving messages, sending emails and not getting any responses about our concerns and reaching voicemails that were full and feeling like we were paying $250 per month (which was supposed to be every other month) for a couple guys to leaf blow our patios we canceled our service. Even the follow up asking for a confirmation email of our cancellation never happened as promised. They definitely don't act like they need our business.
