I found this office on line and were able to see me 2 hours later and fixed the issue! I decided to switch right then and they took the time and did a thorough cleaning and bonding that was falling apart from years ago and now I'm learning to smile with confidence again!!!! Dr. Grove is a very nice man, patient and knowledgeable. previously, I had a crown procedure by my local dentist. However, when he got ready to put the permanent crown on, I was was having severe pain when I would bite on something with that tooth. So, he put the permanent crown on temporarily, and gave me a referral for an Endodontist to examine me. Dr. Grove did several tests and ultimately made two recommendations: root canal, or extraction and implant. The latter was because he couldn't rule out that the tooth had a hidden crack. I chose the former option, and he immediately did it. After the anesthesia wore off, I had only a little pain, and that was in the jaw joint from holding my mouth open wide for so long. By the next day, zero pain! I would recommend Dr. Grove to everyone!

I have Humana, which i also have the special needs part of humana, which is for low income like myself. Last few times, my denture adjustments were covered no problem. This last time the dentist himself tried to say, the adjustments weren't, which ik better because they always were before. On my way out, the 1 receptionist says, "If not covered, we'll send ya a bill". It has me almost scared to get any more adjustments, even if i bleed. I can't go to the place that made them. Too far anymore for me. Ik my insurance covers this. And, they're on the list of ones it does. I like this dentist and the staff, but, i don't like being treated basically like I'm bothering them by needing adjustments, just because they didn't make the dentures I'm wearing right now.

My new dental hygenist has me come in only twice a year for cleanings as she says my gums are in great condition. I waited years for the dentist to see me for further consultation on what we can do next for my teeth. The hygienists would tell me he will see you next time you come in for a cleaning because he is not in today over and over again while I could hear him chatting in other rooms. As if his paying clients are not worth his time. He did a shoddy job on my root canal to where I suffer the most painful sensitivity under that crown and could not eat anything healthy like meat and most veggies or fruits for years putting the rest of my health at risk. They have cancelled my appointment at the very last minute several times while taking my husband in to meet all his needs. I was told I had a tiny cavity that needed a little filling. They cancelled that appointment for the filling over and over again throughout the course of a year and a half while still having me come in for all those expensive deep cleanings. Finally they tell me I need a root canal really bad a year and a half after it was just a tiny filling needed! My new hygenist does 2 normal cleanings a year. Not 3 expensive-ass deep cleanings like this office seems to specialize in. They like using up all my yearly insurance coverage all up on deep cleaning until I have nothing left to spend on reconstructing the rest of my mouth. If you need deep cleanings or this is the only placd that will take you in for a tooth emergency, by all means, go here. Otherwise, I cannof recommend this practice. They acted like I had no right to be upset after all their cancelations and lack of concern/presence from a dentist. It's unacceptable to prioritize a doctor's early departure over a child suffering in agony. Zero compassion. I was shocked at this, because it was so out of the blue, and I had only just started consulting and was looking for a short term fix and long term plan, now that I could start paying for this care. First visit, I thought that perhaps he was a little gruff, but maybe pretty qualified. I struggled to get the next appointments. When I finally got this one, and he said that, I told him I liked his people and I was surprised at his saying that. He pretty much stormed out. What? It was so horrible I paid my bill and went to my car and cried. I never cry about anything, but it was just that awful. I literally felt unsafe with this guy. I went to another dentist who took me immediately; as in THAT DAY. This dentist had a lot of B&R's former employees on staff. They bent over backwards to let me know I wasn't alone in my experience, and they set me up with a wonderful care plan. They fixed my immediate issue and we worked out an equitable treatment plan in a full meeting with the office person who was beyond kind. Totally opposite my Boss & Rorvik experience. Weeks later I got basically an eff off letter from B&R essentially firing me as a patient... although I'd already done that for them and I'd never had any further contact since that day. I don't know what is wrong with that office, and at this point, I don't really care. It prompted me to find someone better who makes me feel welcomed and more confident about my care. But the instability of the big guy alone in this place is a big no for me. The clear stress of his staff is a big no for me. I hope your experience is better. Nobody should feel like that leaving any kind of health care facility, even if it is just a dentist.

They made an appointment for him the same day within the hour! I've never been able to get an appointment that quickly with my own dentist. They are true their claim that emergencies are seen the same day, even if you're not a regular patient. My dad ended up needing a root canal and he said Dr. Schmitt did a great job. He went back for a follow up in a week and Dr. Schmitt was very knowledgeable and able to answer all his questions. Highly recommended practice if you're in the market for a new dentist!

Not only that, he was so calm and made me feel so at ease. I had ABSOLUTELY no pain even during the shots. He walked me through everything he did before he did it and was always making sure I was comfortable as far as pain.
