It's a pretty nice and spread out area. The fields are pretty well maintained and as soon as the weather allows, there are people constantly using them all day and night, for baseball young and old and slow pitch games. One downside is that hardly any of the fields have score boards. I always hate as a spectator or player not having that visual of the score, pitch count and progress through the game. But there are bathrooms and sometimes a concession depending on the day. Parking can also be a pain if you don't get there early.

I'd give the North park (#1) the top spot for sure. This one would come in a close second. There's a regular old playground, the big long walking/ running path that passes the park, and even a small frolf course. The thing I found the coolest about the middle park, though, is that there is a "bike repair" station-- literally a little post that has wrenches, a tire pump, and all kind of other tools and gadgets to fix any kind of issue your bike may have, all free of charge. Pretty neat if you ask me!

We went on an evening cruise and decided to try and explore a little bit, and ended up at Lions Conservancy Park, which is only a mile or two from our neighborhood. What I didn't realize about this park, though, is that they have some amazing mountain biking paths. It was so much fun! Lions Conservancy backs up to the Red River, and the bike path goes right along the river so it's hilly and woody and so cool. There's another path on the other side of the river in nearby Iwen park. The path is also super user friendly. At the beginning there's a map of it, and even a QR code you can scan to access the map electronically, and boy is it helpful. There's also constant markers on the path so you know you're still going the right way. For those who are more seasoned with mountain biking (ie: not me), there's some built in jumps and fun challenges. I stayed way clear of those, because just trying to make it along the path was plenty enough for me. It's about a mile total and it really gets you sweating. So besides the beautiful paths, there's really not a lot more to Lions Conservancy. You can sort of see the river from the parking lot. You can't walk far without being swarmed by bugs and other. But what a beautiful and delightful little path! Certainly not for the faint of heart but all the better when you complete it!

Some advice for those who are a little more unfamiliar with mountain biking, such as myself:…read more 1. Keep your mouth closed!! This path goes through lots of woody/ grassy areas where you will be able to digest a whole appetizer and entree of bugs if you aren't careful. I know they are supposed to be high in protein, so I guess it's your choice but I doubt it would be all too enjoyable whilst trying to navigate the path. 2. Mind where you are going! Mountain biking paths are extremely narrow, and meant for one bike to go at a time, certainly no more and no less, so there's a very minuscule width to navigate through, and any small miss maneuver could have you running into a tree (like my poor mother did, don't tell her I mentioned it on here) or crashing. And we definitely don't want that if we can help it. This is an awesome bike trail, all things otherwise said!! Forum Tower Loop is the bike trail belonging to Lions Conservancy park, which winds right along the Red River and goes for approximately a mile. There's another trail on the other side of the river which is in a different park. An awesome addition is that there is a map of this trail, as well as a QR code you can scan while there, which uploads an electronic map and some other useful information right to your phone. There are small signs nailed on various trees all throughout the trail, and orange flags or spray paint when there aren't signs to help you stay on track. It's a great help. If you are more advanced, the trail does feature some trick spots, where there are jumps and other cool things (I stayed FAR clear of these). For being in Fargo, this bike path was surprisingly beautiful. As I mentioned, it goes right along the river and it's hilly and woody, so it's about as good of views as you can hope for. We also spotted a deer and some turkey, and I mean that's pretty prime nature viewing! This is, North Dakota, after all. XD If you're looking for something fun and different to do in Fargo (because let's be real, people are looking what to do in Fargo often bc there's not much) and a way to get exercise, definitely come check this trail and the other one out!!

The staff were friendly and the zoo was very clean. I'm from California so I'm used to massive zoos but this one was quant and perfect for a quick visit. There are batting cages, mini golf, go karts, bumper cars, arcade, laser tag... And there's shade outside which is the best part if you're a spectator... I think we happen to catch a really good deal because we were just in town for a couple of days... Wednesdays it was an unlimited ride deal for $30 from 12 to 3 which we very much took advantage. Stonebridge (#1) is one of the best parks in Fargo, in my opinion. And no, I am not any part biased…read morebecause I live right along the park (is that telling too much? haha).. You can decide whether I'm bluffing or not. To clarify, I guess this is Stonebridge #1 Park, because there is also a Stonebridge #2 Park and for some reason they couldn't give them separate names? But this is an extremely popular park, so it's not just me glamorizing it. If you go to the park or drive past on any remotely nice day past 4pm, you will see DOZENS of people there. Just on the basketball court alone there are so many people hooping it, sometimes it stills boggles my mind because it doesn't seem like the park should be able to fit that many people. A few years ago Stonebridge #1's playground was completely torn out and renovated, and it is way awesomer now (it's a word don't even question it). Super clean equipment and fun stuff for all ages! Even as a fully grown adult I can't help but love their zipline ride or the swing sets. The regular swings are quite high up too, so you get a better swing once you get going, and there's even a double swing. Not only can you play around at the park, but there's also a nice gazebo and lots of picnic tables spread out around the grass, with built in grills nearby most of them. Tons of families go there in the evenings and have meals, and even family reunions. It's really sweet. And connected to the playground, basketball court and grill out areas is a ginormous field- there are soccer goals, a running path along the side, and all the room to do whatever your heart contents outside. There's often soccer practices held there, family and friends playing a game of football, people working out or other. My high school even hosts their annual Powderpuff football games on the field. Stonebridge #1 is a fantastic park, and don't you forget it (or get it mixed up with Stonebridge #2)!
