The beef was better than anything we would have the right to expect, local, Scottish, butchered down the road. Toasted buns seemed just right, as did the chips, hot and not greasy. Since coffeehouses are not a thing in town, this seems a great place to relax for coffee, until the need for a burger arises. Pro tip: you need to park in the correct place.

We didn't order the afternoon tea (served on a cake stand) but I was stunned that it was less than five pounds. In London, we spent 40 pounds for a similar experience and that was on the low end of afternoon tea pricing. I ate a 1/2 BTL and a bowl of cream of potato and leek soup. My husband had a ham, mozzarella and pineapple panini. We loved out meals! We topped them off with a brownie and a tropical fruit dessert bar.
