While we waited for the event to begin, we walked around the shop and loved seeing the beautiful variety of flowers with everything from potted plants and hanging baskets to herbs and vegetables you can take home and plant yourself. When we headed back outside, we noticed a huge strawberry field behind the store, plus an ice cream area serving fresh strawberry ice cream, which was such a sweet surprise. There's a herd of friendly alpacas, a coop of chickens (and a free roaming rooster) and even some goats. The animals are so cute and friendly! To walk into the farm you'll proceed through the middle of the complex where there's a second level to the right and a market to the left. We first checked out the animal exhibits which included alpacas, goats and chickens. I had never seen alpacas up that close. Then headed over to the food truck for some soft serve ice cream. I ordered the New Zealand style blueberry basil in a waffle cone which was excellent. If you are in the area I highly recommend stopping by holl & stone for ice cream and everything else it has to offer.

This farm stand is located right off Ten Ten road near Lake Wheeler Road. It is easy to access and offers ample parking in their gravel lot. I've visited numerous times and am always greeted. The employees are friendly and helpful. The fresh produce is hit or miss, but I usually leave with what I need. Most recently I stopped here for zucchini and before that peaches and blackberries. The produce is fresh and of good quality. Prices and names are labeled and the produce is organized. They accept cash and card. They are pricier than grocery stores and other farm stands, but worth it for the quality and convenience. Overall, I have had good experiences here and recommend this farm stand to others!
