Tian Fu serves some of the best chinese food in Montreal. Specifically, a friend and I drive down to Brossard every week to get our dry pot pig intestines and sweet and sour pork fix. The Dry Pot Pig Intestines are cooked to perfection and don't have a strong aftertaste. It's pretty spicy though, if we eat the peppers. The Pineapple Sweet and Sour Pork, 咕咾肉, not to be confused with it's northern equivalent, 锅包肉, has a very balanced sweet and sour sauce. The sauce goes very well with the spiciness of the Dry Pot. That's how you stack layers of flavor popping out at different times. If hot peppers are your thing, ask for every Sichuan dish to be extra spicy. Their standard spiciness level is pretty mild to me -- Extra spicy fish fillet in chili oil, just imagine hehe I also want to mention the Spicy and Sour Glass Noodles. Good texture and balanced flavours. Comes in a large bowl, to share. The Sizzling Black Pepper Beef is also worth a try. See the photos I uploaded for more dishes. Delicious szechuan food with very quick service and affordable prices. You know it's gonna be good and authentic when the restaurant is full of chinese people. We came here on friday night and even though there was a lineup, we only waited 5-10 minutes. We got the eggplants, the fish in chili oil and the bamboo and pork. They were all packed with flavor. The eggplants were sweet, a bit sour and were very soft. It was prob my fave dish. The fish was good, could have been a bit spicier. The bamboo shoots were tender. All the items were around 10-15$ each. As a special for the weekend, they give out free edamames as an appetizer from friday to sunday evenings. The place is pretty clean and the service is extremely quick. We got our first dish only 5 minutes after ordering. If you're more than 2 people, it's better to get the medium or large rice rather than separate bowls of rice because it's cheaper that way. Would definitely come back. It's on my list of fave chinese places in the greater MTL. read more

Typical sichuan food located at Brossard .A lot friends told me how delicious here is , but my personal opinion is average score not as high as others two places. According my personal taste ,I like Restaurant Szechuan, located on 8050 Taschereau Blvd local P, Brossard, QC J4X 1C2 and chongqing restaurant located on 5625 Grande Allée, Brossard, QC J4Z 3G3 more than this one , but two others don't publish that much so I guess only Chinese ppl knows it . read more

First time here and overall pretty satisfied! Once we sat down they brought us tea and a bowl of edamames mixed with chili peppers as a starter. We ordered braised pork belly, half steamed chicken, Szechuan beef with onions and peppers and a medium bowl of rice. (First place I see that offers braised pork belly,so I was very excited about that!) Everything was delicious! The Szechuan beef was a little too salty, but was still flavourful and spicy. Gets pretty loud because the restaurant is kinda small. One thing i noticed they leave the tea bags in the tea pot,so the taste isn't watered down. Every other Chinese resto they make a huge batch in the back and every time they refill your tea pot, the taste is there but less pronounced. Overall, good size portions for a very reasonable price. I like it better than Kam Fung restaurant on Taschereau. Definitely my new go to place when the asian food cravings come knocking. I recommend trying it out! read more

Good Szechuan food, not as spicy as what we have in China but it's pretty good. Almost every dish here is good. My favorite is their Fu Qi Fei Pian and Mao XIe Wang. I've been a regular customer here. Highly recommend this restaurant if you want to taste authentic Chinese food. read more

My new favourite Sichuan restaurant! Probably the best Sichuan place I've been so far. It's a BYOB restaurant with a menu that is out of the ordinary for me. We made reservations for 7pm and when we got there, the restaurant was already at full capacity. The service was very good and the waitresses were super friendly and had a smile on all the time even though they were only three of them for the whole big place. We started out with a hot and sour soup that was actually spicy and a shrimp wonton that had pieces of shrimps in it. Both were very good. Then for our main, we had a HUGE (I didn't think it was that big) a bowl of some sort of white fatty fish that was swimming in a pool of hot Sichuan oil filled with hot peppers and Sichuan peppercorns. Numbing deliciousness! Second dish was beef with onions and peppers on sizzling plate. Soooo good and tasty! Last but not least, we had the Tian Fu Special fried rice that had a tone of little fishes in it. It was our least favourite but still very good nonetheless. We couldn't finish our meal and still have enough for another full meal for home. Can't wait to come back here! Truth be told, I wasn't expecting much of this place. I originally wanted to have Indian but wasn'tsure if I wanted to cross the bridge. So my husband suggested we try this place out. Props to him this time for finding this place for us ;) read more

Yeah nice new good Chinese (Sichuan) place with nice decor. The fish with pickled cabbage is really good. The fried spicy chicken was Ok, but not really spicy enough, so that's sad for me. The beef and beef tripe was ok. Will be back to try other stuff. read more

The food was really good and portion size is pretty big worth the menu price. The decorations inside is pretty nice matches their food not like a used old restaurant. I highly recommend the restaurant. Just a friendly advice you leave smelling like the restaurant, because they cook with with degree oil. Without that oil smell the food won't be as good. I've been here two times within the last month or so and have not been disappointed. We came with some friends who knew this place and told us what to order. Service was quick and the food was excellent. We liked it so much that two weeks later my wife and I went back. Using our previous bill as a guide for what to order, it was excellent again. his is a rather cheap place to eat compared to other Chinese restaurants. People tell me how delicious the food is, but I beg to differ. The many hot stews in which 90% is spice/soup and 10% is meat. This is a place you'd want to go with many people because you can order more types of dishes and share. We ordered the appetizer offal salad, the hand torn cabbage, the beef on hot skillet, the sweet and sour pork, and a chicken dish that's literally called "salivating" chicken.
