The person on the phone told me that Dr. Williams was an acupuncturist, that I would have to set up an appointment and explained the cost of each appointment. I'm familiar with acupuncture but also explained that i wanted to make sure she is skilled in chinese herbs and nutrition. The person on the phone then brashly told me that "WE DO NOT MAKE ANY MONEY ON HERBS"! Wow, I've had a long career in the health care industry and this is the first time I've ever heard anyone representing a medical professional (Dr. Williams is an MD) actually tell the potential patient that THEY ARE IN IT FOR THE MONEY! I asked for the person's name and found out it is Jared and that he is part owner of the practice. To me, that says it all about this operation and their motivation. The way I was treated was very disappointing and there are plenty of other alternative medicine practices that truly care about the well being of the patient....NOT THIS ONE.

You have to enter a corporate office building and go into the basement to find the studio. But once you're inside, the area is warm and welcoming. Denise gave me an overall good experience. She's an intuitive reiki practitioner, so she shared some insights on my energy and images that she channeled during the session. We talked about this a bit afterward, which was helpful and interesting. The session itself seemed good. (It was my first reiki ever so I don't have a comparison.) Denise explained to me everything that would happen and made sure I was comfortable at various points. I left feeling relaxed and comfortable. There were a few snags, like a confusion with the appointment time after a rescheduled and challenges with the credit card reader, that took me out of a relaxed state of being. But I think this is uncommon. Overall, I had a positive experience and would tell others to give it a Reiki by Rickie a shot if they're curious about it.
