Cool little lighthouse not far from Cape Vincent or Clayton, NY. The staff in the welcome space were super friendly. They also have lots of merchandise you can purchase. You can walk inside the lighthouse and hear the bull horn they used to emplpy, and read lots of facts about it's history. There is also a beautiful view at the Tibbetts Point. About 3 mi from the village of Cape Vincent is the Tibbitts Point Lighthouse, a well-kept and historical sight on Lake Ontario. If you are interested in the view, there is a viewer that points to many of the surrounding islands and operates on a quarter. There is also a visitor centre as well as a hostel near the property. We biked over from the village, and the drive is a beautiful one with lots of scenic lake views and pretty properties to see. read more
