    Salad & drink

Eh. We stopped here as for lunch as part of our tour group after visiting Pompei and this place seems to cater specifically for large group tours. The food was a massive disappointment especially after our guides had talked up about what specifically makes the pizza a "Neapolitan pizza" We could choose between a Margherita, Marinara or Prosciutto. Tried the Margherita (with its measily basil leaves) and the Prosciutto - both were just super dry. Honestly the Marinara seemed it like might have been a better option. Also the salad needed more dressing. Its a busy place and while it was massively hard to get waiter's attention to get a bottle of oil, 1 person at our table only got their pizza after everyone else was finished eating! The only bright spot was the Pastiera, which was an addition €3 and quite delicious, so save room for some of the dessert options - they might just be the only saving grace at this restaurant! Stopped at Tiberius for a pizza lunch organized by our tour company. We had three choices of pizza - ham & cheese, Margherita and Rossa and it included a side salad and a drink. Although we had our food ordered ahead of arrival the Margherita folks had to wait a few minutes. The Margherita was fine a little bit different from the pizza back home. Well because we came here after walking through Pompeii I was really thirsty so I ordered another Pepsi and Sparkling water. After I found out the regular size pepsi was 4 euros and the regular bottle of water was 6 euros I just kept the pepsi. Otherwise, the staff was responsive and kind for the most part. The venue was nice they had a cute patio area in the back.

    Margherita.... average at best

This was part of our Pompei/Mt Vesuvius tour and we were forced here (no biggie) with a set meal designed for us so I had no control over what I could order except the type of pizza (Margherita/prosciutto or Marinara). Anyways, the house red wine was pretty good. I think it's almost standard that anywhere you go in Italy the house wine will always be good. I enjoyed my glass. They served us a really basically salad with a slight drizzle of olive oil. I'm used to big hearty American salads with all the trimmings but honestly this was fine. I like the idea of a simple salad with just a little salt, olive oil and lemon. The pizza... my wife ordered the Margherita (basically an American style- not the fresh white cheese like I expected). It had 2 pieces of basil on it (wish they had more because it was so good). The pizza was average at best. Typical Neapolitan pizza that I find everywhere in NY. Crust was ok, sauce not too much taste and cheese alright but not the fresh Mozz which I like. The Marinara was much better. It was simple- sauce, chopped garlic and green olives (whole w/pits). My pizza was more charred which I love. It was extremely basic but bursting with flavor. I thoroughly enjoyed this more than the traditional Margherita pizza. My wife would agree. We devoured this and used the leftover sauce we spilled on the plate to wipe up with her bland doughy crust lol. I would have rated 3.5 stars overall. Nothing spectacular but just based on our two pizzas, wine and salad. For the ladies they have a Pandora shop there where you can buy Pompei charms which my wife was thrilled with.

Beer included with lunch wasn't Italian!

We stopped here as the other reviewers did as part of an all day Pompeii/Mount Vesuvius tour. The place seems more like an event venue place, and less of a restaurant, but I guess they make some extra money by offering lunch services to tour groups. Our group arrived and was shown to our tables, unfortunately our table ended up being the last served for food and drink (one drink cart was going around) so the waiting was a bit long, especially when starving. Our tour included one drink and one pizza (pizza orders were called in ahead of time, so they had time to prepare). I opted for red wine, which made me feel quite sick afterwards, so I did end up wishing I had just done water. The pizza was really good! I didn't order pizza often on the trip (not a huge pizza person) but this was by far my favorite and I'll have to side with the Naples' view point that their crust is the best!

This was a stop as part of our ruins of Pompeii & hiking Vesuvius tour. Now normally tour bus stops for food are mediocre tourist fare at best. That is NOT the case here. Our individual pizza orders were called in well in advance so that the fresh baked wonders were ready when our group arrived. The grounds are understated outside and lovely. Inside is cool, sleek, modern and still somehow delivers the welcoming Italian feel. There are not proper words to describe how good the pizza is, so I won't try. I will say only this is how I always thought pizza should taste, but never did. Perfection. The waiters, well one waiter in particular, made this stop truly memorable for more than just the pizza. He playfully interacted with our girls teasingly showing one the right way to cut her pizza then play stalking the other for the rest of the meal lest she be caught doing it wrong too. He was a delight! We wish we'd gotten his name. When we return to Naples in 2017 this will be a mandatory stop. Without question.
