If I had more time (and budget), I would've looked at the jewelry and hair accessories. I will say that the prices were very high. I know that when it comes to Gothic culture and aesthetics, it's bound to cost a lot. I have my own thoughts about that as a whole and capitalism but now it's not really the time for that. I do acknowledge that a lot of the items in the store are from smaller businesses or meticulously made which is why I don't really have an issue with the prices. Just something to take a note of before you come here. Just to give an estimate, I bought five items (none bigger than the palm of my hand) and the total was close to $200. This particular location and business seems similar to other shops that we have been in and around, but the energy is tranquil and calming . The counter individual is respectful and welcoming. She does not seem pushy and lets a customer browse through the shop. The store offers many local flavors and other items that an individual would enjoy as one of a kind too. I'd rate the store higher but was really off put by how I was treated, and other reviews note a similar attitude...I was starting to think I'd read into it, but this is clearly a trend. No employees greeted us or asked if we needed any help the entire time we browsed, in stark contrast to every other boutique I visited that day going above and beyond to make me feel welcome in their shop. And before I get a response that there was a rope across blocking the seat, there was but it was not visible as it was pushed all the way down and under the blankets. They moved it back up after. Either way there was no need for the attitude. She wasn't on the blankets or touching anything.
