My daughter ordered a singing bowl for me for Mother's day. The one I wanted was silver and it was called Love and Compassion as it was pictured on their website. When we got it it was the Wisdom golden one. When I called the store I was told that it was the same one and that they no longer had the silver one. I am really sad because they should have changed it on their website and also told us that it was not available. If you order online make sure they have what you want before ordering. read more

In a town full of witchery and souvenirs this place really caught my eye. The inside transports you into Tibetan culture complete with singing bells and mystical salts. For a fee the shop owner will preform some sort of ritual to test your energy if you're into that sort of thing. If Buddas and ancient practices aren't exactly your style walk around and check out the jewelry. They had everything from biker inspired turquoise to more elaborate one of a kind semi-precious pieces. Prices varied, but were very reasonable with what they offered. I scored a lovely hand beaded flower pin for a mere $12. It was my only purchase in Salem. Overall the shop is very tight and not stroller or wheelchair friendly. Beware if you have a large purse as it's easy to knock something down. Take your time and take in all the wonder from Tibetan culture and beyond, you won't be disappointed. read more

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this shop. I am Buddhist, so when I first saw this shop in Salem, I was ecstatically delighted with joy because it is local to me and I can drop in whenever I wish. I love their selection of Jewelry, clothing, Buddhist items like singing bowls, incense, etc, Tibetan and Nepalese handmade items, and so much more. Love the collection of statues too. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL store. I wanted this place to be SO good. Unfortunately, though, we must have visited on a bad day for the person behind the counter. At one point, we were the only ones in the store. She never once looked up... constantly staring at her phone and texting impatiently. Her phone rang and she proceeded to speak to the person on the other end, raised her voice and complained about having to work full time at her "other job" and how no one understands her difficult schedule, blah blah, etc etc... really?? UGH. She was completely oblivious to the fact that she was actually working at one of the jobs she was complaining about. So much for zen. I was considering buying a few of the mini statues, which were really reasonably priced and good quality, as well as one of the Tibetan good luck bracelets. Too bad, really. I'd be willing to try this place again one day because I can tell the person who owns it really takes pride in their merchandise. read more

The people who run this shop are amazing. My mother believes in energies and people with gifts. I myself don't always believe in such. I however came here with her and I cannot explain it but this place made me feel happy and peaceful after first walking in. The people who were there were very helpful and had a lot of knowledge on their products. The older gentlemen gave me a sense that he knew what I needed and made a recommendation perfect for me as an individual. It was odd to me how he knew what I felt I was missing. If there is any shop worth visiting while in Salem it is definitely this one. I found some beautiful bracelets and clothing items. Went here today because I purchased a few clothing items they had in the front. When I entered to pay, I noticed the store had various necklaces for sale. I just happen to see three pieces that caught my attention. A brief conversation with my husband, we both went back inside to pay for a necklace that the owner and her husband charged me $250 for. We paid cash. Back in my hotel room to check out their website only to find that the necklace they charged me $250 for, is actually only $148!!! So disappointed that a store that sells products and items that is supposed to be centered around good vibes and energy is out there grouching peoples money. Please beware of this place and honestly, check out their site before buying to see if the price matches. I'm very angry that it wasn't a few dollars but over $100 extra that they charge me for! read more

Can't believe there aren't more reviews on here. The store was reasonably busy (October). Everything is so beautiful and the entire store smells nice (not a gross hippy incense smell but a subtle calming smell). Pretty sure the man at the counter is a Tibetan refugee. He was very friendly and helpful and engaging with customers. Everything was fairly priced. They have jewelry, statues, decor (prayer flags, etc), singing bowls. Highly recommend stopping by. It is unique from all the other cutesy Salem shops. Great for gifts and home decor. read more

My sister bought a turquoise Buddha bracelet, only to discover that it was made of elastic cording and it broke after a few months, as with a couple others that we've bought. Beautiful store! It has a great selection of Tibetan items, from huge, mega-expensive statues, to small, affordable pendants and necklaces. I got a medium sized healing Buddha statue and mandala pendant for what I though was was a very reasonable price. I plan to visit here every time I'm in Salem. read more
