You walk inside and your eyes immediately go up to the enormously gorgeous witch statue that is hanging from the ceiling. I had seen photos and videos, but it is more beautiful in person. It is a tribute to one of the owners and her battle with cancer. The inside is decorated spooky with tons of orange and black everywhere - I wanted to stay here forever. They even had a life size statue of Edgar Allen Poe. They offer a ton of merchandise from apparel to mugs to even stickers and magnets. Everything is pricy as you would expect, but you can only get their items in store so I think it is worth it if you're looking for something unique. BlackCraft Cult also does a haunted house on the weekends during the Halloween season with live scare actors - you can tour it during the week too, but they do not have the actors then. They are 1 of only 2 stores in MA that sell Lillie & Cohoe hats. They had a great selection of maybe 20-25 styles and she had me try on almost all of them before I settled on one. I had just bought a pair of leopard print gloves at the PEM so I put those on along with my hat and I knew it was way too gaudy... my husband said it looked great together but the store owner came over and agreed with me.. in a pleasant way. She suggested some gloves that she carries but not in a pushy way at all. I did splurge and buy the hat. They have different price ranges... some great cute handbags... beautiful jewelry... some great clothes, etc. Oh and they have a girls night on Thursday nights with wine and cheese and specials for the night. The store exudes goth ambiance with soft lighting to highlight clothing and great music. I wish I knew the woman's name who helped my daughter put together outfits. She was very kind and made my baby bat look like a million bucks. She's so pleased with her new pieces. We'll definitely return on our next visit. If you're in Salem you should check them out - being able to see and feel the clothing firsthand is so important and something you can't get from buying online.

They carry brands that also supply plus sizes. I was able to find things to try on in store and try on. I don't often get that option. I really wish I had more time to look through their stuff. Another thing that I adore about their storefront, some of their items are also local. I bought two books from local writers. They also have local clothing brands and I just adore this. The people who worked here were so friendly and helpful. I bought myself a lovely red duster. They knew their product well and was able to help me no issue. Items in this store are on the higher end, but its a small price to pay to be able to try on the clothes in store. That is just not something you can get online. I got a very unique ring and floral scarf while I was here, and my friend from Italy found some cool souvenirs to bring back with her. There was a book signing the night we stopped in, which was really cool to see. The people who work here (I think they might have been the owners too) were soooooo nice and cool as well.
