Inside its not the biggest services in the world, but it had a nice atmosphere to it, which is rare for a services. It was probably due to the fact that it is was mid-morning on a Sunday. Inside there is the obligatory arcade machines, fast food outlets, well-stocked but overpriced shop and a branch of Costa. That is where we headed first, to get a hit of caffeine and sample one of their delicious chocolate twists. they also take Costa cards, which is rare for a Costa in a service station. A sizeable dining area with a good outlook, made for a nice pit-stop to saviour the coffee before the rest of journey. I really quite liked this services, its small size appealed, and made the necessity of stopping on a long journey, a pleasure, rather than a chore. read more
