They have soooo much to look at and their Christmas section is to die for…read more Upon walking in, we were greeted by workers, which included an old man who I'm guessing was Jim as he had on what looked to be a costume (of was just his usual attire) and had a statue in the store. A worker who we saw preparing something in the window as we were passing by had handed me, my mom, and my dad a sample of almonds with cinnamon sugar on them. Needless to say, they were delicious. We heard about this place having great ice cream on TikTok, so my mom and I were on the hunt for that. We finally found it in the very back of the store. There was a young man/teenager working behind the counter and was super friendly, telling us that the Graham Canyon flavor was "grandpa approved." My mom got a scoop of that and the chocolate raspberry truffle while I got a scoop of the oatmeal cream pie and lemon bar. We really liked the Graham Canyon flavor, but found the raspberry in the chocolate raspberry truffle to be close to nonexistent. It was still a nice chocolate ice cream though. I loved both the oatmeal cream pie and lemon flavor, but I liked the oatmeal cream pie just a little bit more since there were larger chunks of the actual cookie in it. As we devoured our ice creams, we browsed around the store. Awesome staff, service, selection, and products. Definitely stop in here if you get the chance!

When I asked for something thicker and sweet. They showed me the 25 Star Balsamic and I was in Love. I took home 2 bottles and a bottle of Pineapple. The Pineapple is lovely on a Spinach, Tomato and Mozzarella salad Since that purchase in 2016 I've gone through 11 bottles of the 25 Star. I get 3 bottles at a time shipped to my home. It's the only thing I put on my salad. It goes with everything. I've had it on steaks, burgers, eggs and when I'm craving something special I'll grab a spoonful and enjoy it like chocolate. Which it goes with nicely. I just ordered 3 more since I'm about to run out. It's just a nice as some expensive Balsamic's I've had in Europe at a fraction of the cost.

Two: They carry a nice selection of "Dead Pawn" (aka " old pawn") Native American jewelry. Old pawn pieces can be less appealing or even a bit scary to shop for if you are new to Native American jewelry, or if you are looking for modern styling or highly polished pieces. However, while you will find all manner or recognizable styles in old pawn, you just may find one of a kind pieces too. That's the type I like. Another thing about shopping old pawn is that vendors are usually more open to accepting offers. A very nice couple operate this store. Although you will see a sign with the Ortega name at the Galloping Goose just a few shops away, they are not the same owners - they are cousins. Ortega's has been here a while and it surprised me that I had to submit a YELP listing. This is definitely a shop worth visiting.

You can't miss the colorful, carbon steel statues and furniture displayed along the road and in the patio. There are two stores and a back patio full of fun household, garden, jewelry, Christmas, clothing, and snack items. One of the owners came out and warmly greeted us as we checked out the fountains on the patio. She said we were welcome to come in and make a cup of coffee. She explained that we were welcome to explore the entire front and back patio and both shops but to stay off the second floor of one of the shops because these rooms are rented out to folks visiting or traveling. The whole area has a really happy energy, with fun trinkets and gifts packed into every corner. There's a restroom available for customers.
