It definitely wasn't abused, but I also wasn't expecting anything since it had been a gift. I brought it into the store simply to show them what had happened and even told them I wasn't there to return it. Without any hesitation, they picked up the entire display of hackey sacks, told me to choose whichever one I wanted, and replaced it with a smile. That kind of customer service is becoming harder and harder to find. They treated me with kindness, trusted what I told them, and made the whole experience incredibly easy. If you're looking for a locally owned toy store that truly stands behind what they sell and genuinely cares about their customers, I can't recommend Toyful highly enough. I'll definitely be back.

The cashier (taller guy, long hair--receipt says Corey/Cotey?) was very unfriendly in his tone throughout the checkout process and at the very end proceeds to ask, "what's in that?" Accusing me of stealing items, and justified his Q by saying, "it happens." It was a lunch box with snacks for my son as we shopped. I wouldn't have given much thought to either of these interactions on their own, but because the whole experience was negative, I feel the need to share it. It was also strange when I went last Friday at 10 am and the doors were closed. Phone went straight to static. A lot of people walked up to locked doors and were confused as to why there wasn't a sign stating they were closed. A woman told me that she had a lot of valuables to donate and will be going elsewhere. Sad! The other ladies Karen and Tammie are equally helpful, informative and courteous. This place has an eclectic and curated mix of everything you might want or need to decorate your home. April is extremely particular about what she accepts for consignment hence why everything she carries is in excellent condition despite being pre-loved. With an impeccable sense for design, April is also a wealth of information for local resources from window cleaning to furniture re-upholstery. I have found several treasures to finish my home decor and also have had the pleasure of consigning with her many of my own cherished pieces that I simply did not have room for after downsizing. She tried to show me new machines that were expensive. I paid and left. Took my machine to a different place and they said this machine has not been serviced and they serviced it. It works perfectly fine. I will never return to this place and feel they were trying to pull one over on me.
