I was shocked to be told that the technician had taken my personal phone home with them so it wasn't even in the shop. I was told to come back a week later, but when I did, they made me wait a few more days.When I finally got the phone back and paid $400, I went through my photos at home and discovered the technician had actually used my phone's camera to take a photo of someone else's laptop.Within 12 hours, I realized the phone was in worse shape than before. I had paid for a new screen, battery, and camera. While the screen worked, the device was overheating rapidly, the camera wouldn't configure, and the battery health was in the red (worse than when I dropped it off).I was hesitant to let them have it again, but since I paid $400, I dropped it back off hoping for a swift fix. Instead, they dragged their feet again. I left a voicemail in early July and got no callback. I called again today (Tuesday, July 14) and was told it won't be ready until Thursday.They have had my phone for almost 3 months, charged $400 for botched repairs, ignored my calls, and took my private device to their home. Avoid Burrard Laptops at all costs

They did a super job). This time I needed to have my system upgraded to Windows 11 and upgrade the hard drive. My computer was ready the next day and cost considerably less than I expected. Young Shintaro at the customer service desk was very helpful and made a number of recommendations to improve the upgrade. I'm an old lady and sometimes get 'attitude' at technical service desks but there was none of that here. Excellent customer service and highly recommended. Good job ME!

But Memory Express Langley's manager's behavior is remarkably rude and unprofessional. I ordered an i7-13700K Processor Bundle with a Gigabyte Z790 GAMING X AX Mobo for $629 during the Thanksgiving sale a few days ago (attached are the pictures as proof). Today, I received a call from the manager, stating that I must pay an additional $200 due to their error. I would have been fine with this adjustment, but at the time of my purchase, there were several similar bundles available at Canada Computers and NewEgg. Unfortunately, I missed out on those deals because I ordered from Memory Express. As a result, I'm left with no other options. Note that this would have been illegal in Quebec under their consumer protection laws. When I tried to explain this situation to the manager, instead of a simple apology, I was met with a barrage of yelling and unprofessional behavior. What should have been resolved with an apology turned into a heated argument with the manager.

    Ordered an Ryzen 9800X3D processor from CC, they sent it by Canada Post. They knew 72 hours prior…read moreto shipping the CPU to me that Canada Post was going on strike. I messaged them right away and was told to wait, that they were aware of the issue; however, wouldn't do anything. Fast forward 3 weeks post ordering and I sent them another message stating this was unacceptable and they needed to send me a replacement CPU. When the original one arrived I would return it, or they could request it to be returned to them before it was to arrive at my place. They responded they would replace the CPU right away and ship via other means. Fast forward another 2 weeks, no notification of a new CPU, as a matter of fact, absolutely no response from Canada Computers at all. I have sent 2 additional messages to CC and not 1 response yet! The most pathetic customer service ever! Yes, I get that the postal strike wasn't their fault. What is their fault is knowing 72 hours prior to the strike that they'd be striking, yet still using Canada Post anyways.
