In the past I've made several purchases here. It's a unique shop and I would dare say the only one in the area like it. Having said that, I don't give them much hope of remaining in business long since they don't appear to be opening any consistent hours. Yes I know it's hard to get staff currently but you just can't close your doors 7 days a week and expect to remain in business. What's really baffling is they've been closed on days when there's been lots of foot traffic because of the Farmers market. Even if you do hav upe staffing problems wouldn't you make a point of being open on those days when you know you would get lots of people walking main Street? I've stopped by twice in the past 4 weeks and they have not been open. Yes they have a sign posted in the door to check online to see what hours they might be open that week. But what kind of business practice is that? How do you expect to develop the foot traffic to keep your store open if you're never there? I typically tried to stop in every time I'm in Grayslake. I don't always buy something however the last two times I stopped I actually was looking for some gifts to purchase from local shops. You can't buy local if local is never open. It's a shame because I really was looking to buy a hostess gift today Disappointed.
