Mornings for me, even pitch black mornings where the sun is not expected to make an appearance for hours are my full-blown Cinderella experience with birds chirping at the window and friendly mice selecting my outfit and braiding my hair and telling me I look fabulous now go get this day, girlfriend! I don't linger in bed. Ever. Except recently, I had been doing it more and more often. I knew somewhere in the back of my mind that I was growing increasingly dissatisfied at work. But I was not willing to face that reality or do anything about it. After all, I had been doing similar work for 20 years. And I am good at it. Incessant organization, task mastery, and levitating innumerable balls in the air simultaneously? Piece. Of. Cake. Though with each passing day it was becoming less easy and less interesting and less what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. Enter Nurture Life Coaching. I first met with Savannah of Nurture Life Coaching in April. I did not know what to expect. Would this be a regularly scheduled whine-fest where I complained that I did not know what I wanted to do, boo hoo? Would I be signing up for endless weekly sessions where little progress was made? Would I have to learn some entirely new woo-woo vocabulary about inner light and chosen paths? Not. Even. A. Little.
