I was honestly surprised by how good this place was, especially since it is located on the lower level of a mall. I came here for a Too Good To Go pickup, and the portion was very generous. Everything tasted great. The red velvet cake had a soft, creamy texture with a rich cream cheese frosting that was really well balanced. The cookies were tasty, and I especially loved the ones with walnuts. There was also a sweet bread with walnuts and raisins that was delicious and not too dry. Even though it is a small bakery in a mall, the quality was much higher than I expected. The flavors were well done, and everything tasted fresh. Definitely a pleasant surprise, and I would come back again.

Beautiful creations are on display at Tiffany's Bakery no matter what time of day you visit. I've ordered cakes from here a handful of times and it never disappoints. The cases are always fully stocked. I stopped in for a birthday cupcake for a colleague this afternoon. I wanted a treat for myself too so I asked for one mini carrot cake cupcake and the associate gave me an extra one on the house! She was so cheerful and kind. I couldn't help but smile to myself after I paid. The service and the quality does not miss!

We ordered this cake for a customer in Camden on a Wednesday and it was delivered on Thursday morning. The customer loved it, and could not stop talking about how gorgeous it was and how good it tasted.

I went to the location within the Fashion District (Gallery). As I walked up, I wasn't greeted although there were three people present. They were all working on something so that's understandable. I was helped by someone who spoke so quietly I struggled to hear them. I placed my small order online the day before, paying $3.20 for a "next-day rush job" only to find that the items I ordered could have been purchased same day. When I asked for a bag for items that I purchased, I was told they cost $.50. While I normally have a tote or reusable bag on me, I didn't this time and a more structured paper bag would have been nice to hold my fragile baked goods. All that being said, the cupcakes were delicious!

Writing and piping needs to be improved!

I purchased this cake this week for a very important event. While Tiffany's respected and adhered to the "quick turnaround" that they advertise, for the money they require, I expected a more professionally decorated cake. The writing is piped amateurishly(crooked and imbalanced) and whoever the manager that is in charge of the staff that decorate cakes (that people spend their hard earned money for), need to invest in training for courses in penmanship, piping and decorating. (Using a template would be helpful!) Presentation in crucial in the food industry, particularly in baking and cake decorating, so there needs to be better attention (and customer respect) paid to how this is done in the future! I am disappointed, and though I was initially over charged for this cake and then issued a partial refund, I had high expectations, given what was finally paid and this cake came up short in the decoration department. I will not be returning.

I passed by on Friday night and I saw slices of chocolate strawberry shortcake. The lady at the store told me that they are only available on Fridays. Just like the regular strawberry shortcake, each slice is huge. I without a doubt prefer the chocolate version because it's richer but not too sweet. I wish it is available during the whole weekend.

Do not buy a cake for a special occasion from this bakery! This is by far the worst cake I have ever ordered. It cost around $90 and it looked amateur and uncreative. I spent a considerable amount of time describing what I wanted and they still got it wrong. The lettering was not proportional and not spaced equally. It was suppose to also be on the bottom half of the cake not in the top middle. The bordered was suppose to be a rainbow border and it looked like multicolored squiggles that went round and round with no creative talent. They left sticks in the middle of the cake. Luckily nobody choked on one or bit into them. The top icing was so hard when I put candles on the cake it cracked like an egg shell. You put your trust into bakery then get severely disappointed. There is no guaranty what you end up with and they never make up for their mistakes and poor quality. Do not buy an custom cake for a special occasion from this bakery! You will be disappointed!

The cake was sweeter than I remember. And the cream was not as light and fluffy and I remember. Overall ok.

The place was busy, but that didn't delay our orders. We could hold a conversation without having to speak loudly. We bought some dark roast beans, ground there for espresso, to take home.

We were a little late due to traffic, but our reservation was still honored. Our seating was inside and upstairs (which we appreciated b|c it rained while we were dining) Ambiance was lovely, dimly lit and romantic if you're on a date. Restaurant is family friendly!! We were quickly sat, our waiter introduced himself to us -- lovely gentleman by the name of Vincenzo?!? He was effortlessly efficient and friendly. Made our night exceptional. My cousin said it was late and she didn't want to really order anything. I talked her into ordering and then at least she could eat the leftovers for "midnight snacking" or lunch the next day. We ordered: -- Bellini: Prosecco infused peach purée -- Bread -- Scamorza -- Fire-roasted aged mozzarella, prosciutto -- Torta Granchio -- Italian crab cake infused with crab, shrimp, and mascarpone served with cucumber fresco and gastronomic roasted red pepper gelato -- Cesarina -- Kale, romaine, creamy Parmigiano dressing -- Agnolotti -- Torino-style Ravioli filled with veal, pork, and vegetables. Butter sage sauce topped with gastronomic black and white truttle gelato -- Pappardelle al Ragu -- Ribbon pasta, slow cooked pork, veal, lamb and chicken ragu (my cuzn's meal) -- Tiramisu Classico -- Lady fingers, espresso, mascarpone Everything was delicious, especially the Torta Granchio. Gran Caffè L'Aquila needs to lead with this appetizer. It was delicious. My cousin and I ordered two more to go!! Our pasta meals were decadent and delicious. We shared the tiramisu and we both agreed it was fantastic. Classic is the way to go. We left with full bellies after having wonderful conversation. We both agreed we'd be back!! BTW: I booked our reservation OpenTable and got 1000 points for it!!!

5 stars for Bud and Marilyn's? I recently gave The Love 5 stars for its fried chicken!…read more The Marilyn's Fried Chicken I had this evening was every bit as good! I'm not sure why I waited so long to try the chicken at Bud and Marilyn's, but better late than never! They serve a LARGE 1/2 chicken. I started with the thigh. I was smitten by the first bite. I was told the chicken is soaked in a buttermilk brine for 24-48 hours - dipped in a buttermilk dredge - covered with their 'secret recipe' seasoned flour - and fried in a 'pressure fryer' that cooks the chicken in 12 minutes. It was perfectly fried - so crispy - the texture and seasoning of the exterior coating was incredible. The chicken was tender and juicy - the thigh was the juiciest - I didn't get to try the drumstick as I was too full! I had the thigh and 1/2 the breast. The breast is my favorite and I savored each large delicious piece I broke apart. It's important to pick up the chicken and eat it by hand - I did cut mine in half for a picture - but didn't use a fork to eat it - you lose the 'panache'of the meal. I didn't use the hot sauce served with the chicken - I brought my own bottle of honey and poured it over the chicken and biscuits. It was heavenly! Which brings me to the Biscuits! The dish comes with 2 large fluffy buttermilk biscuits - they were golden brown on the outside and tender and fluffy on the inside! They had such a rich, buttery flavor. I took several pieces of chicken and layered them on pieces of biscuit, drizzled with honey! It was truly a 5 star fried chicken and biscuit dinner!

This is my new go-to for chicken & waffles. Concise, excellent beer selection. And interesting, well-made cocktails. The banana cream pie is one of my favorite desserts anywhere. Staff is friendly. This is my second time visiting a Matcha Panda location, and I'm happy to say the quality is just…read moreas good as the Chestnut Street one. They definitely seem consistent, which I really appreciate. I came with a couple of friends on a Saturday afternoon, and wow... this place was packed. Even with the crowd, the staff stayed friendly and worked quickly, so we didn't have to wait too long for our drinks. One thing I still love is the seating. They have giant plushies sitting in the booths, so if you're by yourself, you're not just awkwardly staring at an empty seat across from you. Maybe I'm the only one who appreciates that, but I think it's a cute touch. The matcha here is the real deal. It's bright green, fragrant, and has that rich, earthy flavor with just enough natural bitterness that you know they're using quality matcha. A lot of places advertise matcha, but this one actually delivers. I ordered one of their matcha desserts with ice cream, and it was creamy, refreshing, and let the matcha flavor shine instead of burying it under sugar. My only complaint is that it was pretty warm inside. It was a hot summer day, and I honestly couldn't tell if the air conditioning was running or if it was just fans. Either way, it wasn't very cool inside. Thankfully I had ice cream, so it didn't bother me too much, but it's something to keep in mind if you're stopping by on a really hot day. Overall, another great visit. Friendly staff, consistently high-quality matcha, and a fun atmosphere. If you're a matcha lover, this is still one of my favorite spots in Chinatown.

I personally thought the matcha one was the best. The service was quick and informative. And I loved the little booths they had, it was adorable. That aside, I do think the drinks are mediocre. I ordered their most popular, Mango Matcha and their Hojicha Latte. Sadly I was disappointed, the mango matcha was VERY sweet, but the texture was creamy. I just couldn't get over the overpowering sweetness of the mango puree, but that's my personal preference. The mango flavor itself wasn't bad! Maybe half sweet would be the way to go, Im not sure if they do adjustments. If you love yuzu, I don't recommend their yuzu soft serve HOWEVER their matcha soft serve is pretty yummy Their Hojicha was watery...I really hoped it would be better. I don't recommend it.
