Ordered a birthday cake and it was extremely disappointing. As I mentioned in my previous review, I've ordered cake and cupcakes here before. This time was a costly expense that I will not gamble with again. I ordered a beautifully decorated vanilla and old fashioned buttercream 8" cake (that can feed up to 20 people). The filling was not sweet at all. The cake taste like it was frozen previously and they just added icing and such. It wasn't moist. The cake was not worth the $110.00 that I paid. There's still a lot of cake left and it was clear that guests at the birthday gathering was also displeased. Whipped Bakeshop is a place that I thought I could order my wedding cake from (whenever that day comes). I am extremely dissatisfied with the birthday cake and cannot see myself ordering cakes from here again.

When I was in a pinch and needed a fancy birthday cake at the last minute Whipped really came through for me. While they were not accepting custom orders when I called, they have an online shop where you can pick from a number of cakes that are fairly customizable. As you can see in the picture with the help of some snowflakes and 4 bought on Amazon I was able to make somewhat of a frozen themed birthday cake. My only issue is how wildly expensive these cakes are. For the below cake that did look pretty and taste delicious but was certainly not a work of art, I paid about $130. I shudder to think what they would charge for a fancy wedding cake. That being said I highly recommend the funfetti and the shop online option is a solid one for all my fellow procrastinators.

Wasn't impressed considering the price we paid for it. We bought this cake for my mother in law's 50th birthday and the piped message is pretty sub par (and squished together when there was plenty of room). The flavor of the cake and buttercream frosting was ok, but again for the price paid my expectations were set higher. The bakery should let you take a look at what you ordered when picking up before leaving. If I had been able to see the piping before leaving I would've asked for it to be redone. Instead I was handed a ceran wrapped box outside the bakery.

    Cupcakes from my wedding!

We got our wedding cupcakes from Whipped. Most people dug into our cupcakes before dinner was over and by the time we made our way over to get some there was only one kind left! Zoe did a great job at helping us figure out what combinations we wanted and how many of everything to get. In the end we chose: 1. Chocolate cupcake with peanut butter icing and a peanut butter cup 2. Lemon cupcake with passionfruit icing 3. Carrot cupcake with cream cheese icing 4. Red velvet cupcake with cream cheese icing 5. Banana cupcake with chocolate buttercream icing One of the guests as my wedding gave us a cupcake stand - so you can bet that on our anniversary I'll be getting some cupcakes, putting them on our cupcake stand, and chowing down.

Whipped Bakeshop cookies for our Covid virtual Baby Shower.

Gorgeous and delicious cakes every time! Have used Whipped Bakeshop twice so far. First time was for my daughter and son-in-law's virtual baby shower in June 2020. All virtual guests were mailed beautiful cookies (from Whipped) that were eaten during the "shower". Everyone loved them. And, of course we had to have cake for the soon-to-be new parents. Was one of the most beautiful cakes I've ever seen. It was beautiful, moist and delicious. Second time was last weekend for baby Matilda's first birthday. The only direction we gave was the party would be a vintage Disney theme. The cake was SO beautiful and fun! Perfect colors and really delicious! (Must confess, the cake from the shower was so great we knew we wanted to keep it to eat ourselves so we also got beautiful and sparkly cupcakes for all the party attendees. ) Great people to work with and they're so incredibly creative. Yes, they're really popular and yes you'll need to plan ahead if you want to use them but truly can't say enough great things about the quality of their work.

I have used Whipped Bakeshop for the past three years now, and they are so creative and easy to work with! Their cakes and cupcakes taste just as good as they look too! The team is always willing to work with me within my budget and exceed beyond my expectations when it comes to the design. I look forward to continue to have them be a part of my family's celebrations!

Amazing Cake!! Amazing Service! It was a very smooth transition with the inquiry for a cake, the design process, the payment process, and even the picking up of the cake. The cake was ready for pick up at the time we discussed. The amount of detail they showed for my unicorn cake was phenomenal! I had everyone for the party asking me where I got my cake from. I look forward to using them for other events! I'm very happy I decided to go with Whipped Bakeshop. They have a very nice staff and even better baked goods!!

Three tier wedding cake with hand-crafted peonies

Whipped Bakeshop created the cake (and cookie favors!) of our dreams for our wedding. We contacted them on short notice due to rescheduling our wedding as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and they were more than happy to assist with a quick turnaround. We worked with Jess who understood exactly what we wanted. Our cake was three tiers and we were able to have each tier be a different flavor, which was awesome! They created beautiful peonies for our simple and elegant cake. The cookie favors were custom created as well, to look like our cake (and they added our initials). Overall this was a great and delicious experience. We already want to go back for more!

Cake was VERY important to us when we were planning our wedding, and Whipped hit it out of the park. Our tasting was a great experience (even virtually during COVID) - we loved so many of the flavors, but eventually settled on earl grey and cardamom with a citrus buttercream. It was DELICIOUS and looked amazing on our wedding day. I will definitely be dreaming about this cake for years to come - and maybe ordering it again just for our anniversary.

5 stars for the best tasting cakes and cupcakes in the area, but also 5 stars for incredible customer service. I've had cupcakes from Whipped before, but today I heard a knock on my door and was greeted with a special delivery- a birthday cake ordered from my friend in California! It was an awesome surprise and she said Whipped was great about notifying her of the delivery and it was easy to arrange. Thanks for the delicious surprise!

    Chocolate and lemon

We only got two cupcakes - one chocolate and one lemon - but they made a big impact on our tastebuds. We just happened to drive by and thought it looked cute so I ran in to get us a treat. I didn't realize they were basically only a cupcake bakery (they also had whoopee pies and brownies but it was obviously all about the cupcakes). Honestly the cupcakes didn't look that exciting - smallish and sort of plain and I raised an eyebrow at the $3-$4 each prices but felt obliged to buy something and boy am I glad I did. They say you always have to watch out for the quiet ones and what these cupcakes lacked in pizzazz they more than made up for in taste, texture and deliciouosity! What a delightful, rich, moist, old fashioned cake that would have been a huge treat on its own although we were more than happy to also savor each creamy and not too sweet bite of the frosting as well. Though it was small it was so good and so intense (in a good way) I felt like I had eaten half a cake - it more then satisfied my dessert craving.

Custom arcade game cake! So awesome!
    Cara B.

I ordered a custom cake for my boyfriend's 30th birthday party and Whipped did an amazing job! They were very helpful in choosing a cake to fit our budget and nailed the design after I explained what I wanted and sent a few reference photos. Everyone said it was the most awesome cake they had ever seen and it was delicious! The cake itself was chocolate cake with classic buttercream. I highly recommend Whipped for custom cakes! Their coconut macaroons and French macarons were also fantastic. Thanks Whipped!
