There's locker's availble as well. There's a concession stand with limited food and drinks but very reasonable. Zero entry, most of the pool areas are 3'6 deep to 3'. There are baby slide, a medium wide slide and a large slide as well as a basketball hoop, innertubes and a deeper area for the larger kids and adults. There are plenty of lounge chaise and tables with an umbrellas. They take cash or checks, no debit or credit cards. Nice for the locals and those who are visiting the area. My only suggestion is that the teenagers working there, learn how to say "Thank You" when taking money either for entry or at the concession stand.

Random sprinklers and water falls also came off the jungle gym. There was plenty of parking even as we were leaving. Cons: The water was FULL of dead bugs, feathers and little twig/leaf pieces. It wasn't until someone complained that the life guards actually started to filter some of it out. And this after being open for over an hour. In the middle of the larger pool there was a huge swirl of dead bugs. GROSS!!!! Also, we had to keep constant watch on our stuff after we caught someone using our sunscreen and then laughing about with her friend after I walked back to our table. It was really strange and completely shocked me that someone would do that. Coming here with a baby and then up to maybe 4 year old would be fine but any older there wasn't much to do. Finally, once the pool started to get busy there was hardly any room to walk or kick your feet without touching someone and the older kids who were goofing off kept bumping into us. Not a huge deal, but with an 8 month old it became a safety concern. Would we go back? DEFINITELY not. Not a chance. Being covered in dead bugs, maneuvering a small, packed pool and then having to worry that no one steal will your belongings isn't a good way to spend a Sunday afternoon. The cost of parking is just plain ridiculous, 10.00 to park plus what you have to pay to get in, and then the cost of food is crazy too. The wave pool had a lot of debris in it, which when it was Big Surf you never even seen a leaf in the water. The employees are rude and not very helpful. The only good thing that has come with the new owners has been the new area for kids, it has a lot of slides for them. Overall I am very disappointed in this place now.

Any city across the country would love to have park like Albert-Oakland (sadly many don't). I came for the disc golf. Two 18 holes courses (wow!). The original winds through gentle slopes and wooded areas, complete with tough dog legs and water hazards. The newer course mostly takes you up and down a large hill. While this newer course's layout is a bit simpler than the original, you will be throwing around plenty of well-placed trees and other obstacles. You could spend all day here and never be bored. I hope to be back the next time I'm in Columbia!
