We had a blast both days! I was disappointed in many parents. This is a Christian establishment which is obvious when you get here. If you do not want to respect that, then do not come. There are other water parks in the area. Besides the Bible verses posted when you come in there is a sign explicitly stating that thong bathing suits are not allowed. Unfortunately, there were still plenty of thong bathing suits. Shame on you grown adults who feel like you need to wear that type of a swimming suit in front of hundreds of children and as a grown adult cannot follow rules. Those of you who do this are horrible role models for your own children and others. I do not blame the establishment at all, or expect the teenage staff to have to reprimand and turn away grown adults for their clothing. It's a sad state of the world when adults feel like they need to show off everything to elementary aged children.

There's locker's availble as well. There's a concession stand with limited food and drinks but very reasonable. Zero entry, most of the pool areas are 3'6 deep to 3'. There are baby slide, a medium wide slide and a large slide as well as a basketball hoop, innertubes and a deeper area for the larger kids and adults. There are plenty of lounge chaise and tables with an umbrellas. They take cash or checks, no debit or credit cards. Nice for the locals and those who are visiting the area. My only suggestion is that the teenagers working there, learn how to say "Thank You" when taking money either for entry or at the concession stand.

We decided to venture out to a really cool state park while we are staying near Lebanon. There is…read moreno admission fee and you can park right next to the castle if you are mobility challenge, but we parked at a lower level and hiked up. I'll paved walkway, not a bad walk at all. I added the picture of the story of the Kansas City businessman that decided to purchase 5000 acres and build a castle here back in the early 1900s. You can read the story on that particular photo. The ruins seem well maintained, you are not allowed to walk in them, but you can get pretty close and take photographs. There are also several viewing platforms around the area, which gives you some pretty cool views of lake of the Ozarks. They do have pit toilet Bathrooms available. Beautiful place and can highly recommend for a historical visit as well as spending some time in nature.
