I always, always find a ton of things I love here, but the prices can still be a little intense. They do sell higher end brands and you'll pay for them, but of course not as much as you'd pay at other stores (i.e. a pair of Coach sandals might run you $80). I love that they have brand here I usually order online, even their hair products like Cake. Winners - I love you. Sometimes, you stress me out, but this location really is the best fo the best.

To date, Associates have been courteous and helpful. Today, however, I had the unfortunate opportunity to be served by a cashier at the Cornwall WalMart with a sour attitude. After watching this particular associate toss my purchases, which included electronic equipment, into my blue WalMart tote, I suggested a little more care might be appreciated. This prompted immediate aggression and sarcasm from the associate. Though she complied her attitude demonstrated a deference to customer service. Sadly, this WalMart location failed to deliver a positive shopping experience. More effort is needed to monitor customer service at this location.

Visiting family for the holidays and being in the area we needed to grab some quick things. This was the convenient place to go for sure. Not much overall to say, almost everyone is aware of how Walmart is and has visited one. I typically would rate one star for many reasons for being a miserable place to shop. The reason I am giving two stars though is because the overall cleanliness and setup was far superior to any back in Maine. The care and attention to specifically the clothing section was surprising. I'm so use to clothes being thrown all over the place and not much looking neat. So this was quite the surprise. She was able to hear and talk a little bit and my mother was putting things in the cart as she scanned our stuff she scanned our fishing pole which had the option to put a warranty on it and she yelled at my mother to "pay attention" because she needed to click yes or no. It is hard not to find anything at HomeSense that is not priced reasonably. Like other reviewers have mentioned, since it is located on Merivale Road, it should be avoided on the weekends. Not only that but avoid this location on Monday's as well, the stock is usually low, and the store is left with all the "left overs" from the weekend, that did not sale. Usually give it a day or two for the staff to load up the shelves with new goodies after their weekend rush. Best time to shop is Tuesday-Friday in the evening or morning. Minus the drive on Merivale the trip to Homesense was pretty good. This Homesense is massive! There are a lot of items at this store and like most Homesense's the stock changes weekly. There were a lot of items for the house, some nice, some awfully hard to look at! The good thing about this Homesense is that there are a lot of items for pretty reasonable prices.
