Tons of bees, slow staff, and not much else good to write about. I would avoid this place even if it's near the pool. Food is also left on the counter for a good a bit of time while so many people walk past it. If they had a runner, that might solve that issue. Incredible customer service and great atmosphere. Food and beverage offerings were outstanding! We were caught in a storm and couldn't get our boat back to the south end of Flathead Lake. They allowed us to moor overnight no charge AND provided a vehicle for us to return home at a more than reasonable rate. Montana hospitality at its finest!! read more

Wow! What happened? We've gone there 2 weekends in a row like we do every summer. The food is subpar for the price they are asking and it took forever to get nachos. The waitress was extremely rude. We ordered our drinks and after not receiving them we just left. We usually come at least every weekend but,now I think we'll be spending our money elsewhere. So disappointed with the rudeness of the staff and food. Bummer used to be a cool place. Not nice to treat the locals like crap! read more

Worst service we've ever experienced. Almost every dish served was incorrect and had to be sent back after already waiting 45 minutes, including drinks. Drinks were spilled by the server and not replaced. We had to go to the bar to get our own drinks, including water and napkins. When the manager came to our table she didn't listen to any of what we needed her to know. And she thought taking food off of the bill that we didn't order was a resolution. And then the OWNER sits down and goes straight to verbally abusing us AND getting physically abusive. I had to start taking a video because of how bizarre it was when he physically assaulted me and grabbed my phone attempting to destroy it. So awesome to be with friends I've known since we were knee high. But what a Horrible experience. From the get go. Will not go into the dramatic details. It just snowballed. I have never had an experience like that. Bad service. Low level food. Manager had no vested genuine interest in patrons experience. Owner is an irrational hot head. We know food. We are of the food and restaurant world ourselves. Don't disrespect. Sad when people can't show respect and kindness. We are educated, experienced gracious people. We were at the tiki bar for Friday night live music. I hate to say this because we love going to the tiki bar but it was horrible! Service was beyond terrible. We waited forever for drinks, food. The food was ok. And later in the evening our friends who came a bit later were told by the waitress don't bother ordering. We had a large crowd but not unmanageable. We ended up going to the outdoor bar to order where the bartender was aggravated. My friend had to return her drink it was so bad. We were charged $29 for a pitcher of the worst margarita we've ever had. Tables were filthy covered in dirt. Not wiped down before they opened. . I hope it was just because they were trying to work out the kinks for opening night. I would hate to think this is how the rest of the summer will be. The food here is a bit overpriced for what you get. However, it is hard to beat the location. Located on the north end of where the Swan River enters Flathead Lake, this location is ideal for Marina Cay Resort guests, as well as casual boaters who can dock right next to the Tiki Bar. The food menu is mostly burgers, sandwiches, salad and finger foods. Perhaps most important to the patrons, the Tiki Bar has a full bar menu including solid beer choices, mixed drinks, blender drinks, buckets of beer, wine, and 64oz drinks that can be made strong or "stronger". We came on the 4th of July, and they were not serving the full food menu. Instead, for $11, you had a choice of burger, hot dog, chicken, or ribs with a plate of veggies, potato salad, and pasta salad. Most of the food was rather average, but the ribs were surprisingly good. They were tender and well-cooked, a solid half rack, and were drenched in a nice, tangy sauce. They did not last long. The service was excellent. Food arrived quickly, drinks were refilled instantly, and we were very well attended to. The crowd here on this fine summer day was very eclectic. One corner was full of bikers, another was full of well to do boaters, another was more of a younger party boat group, and the rest of the restaurant was sprinkled with Bigfork locals, and summer visitors. read more

The music tonight was really really good!!! The food was just ok & the drinks were very marginal. I would stick with a beer or wine you are familiar with. The service was pretty good until it got busy, then it was clear they were understaffed. The worst part though was staff smokes behind the bar & the smoke comes over & into the whole outside bar area as if you yourself are smoking. I would sit clear of the bar for this reason. Horrible service! We went there and it took forever to get our order taken. We got our food we ordered the Nachos more chips than cheese and food. We then came the next weekend the waitress was very rude she took our drink order and after 40 min. of no drinks we left. I left a comment on Facebook and they deleted the comment . This place was our go to place every summer but, now I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I gave it a two because I'm trying to focus on the food - I want to give it a one because the service was so terrible. This place was understaffed, but the staff it did have wasn't all that with it. You know the resort town seasonal people who really don't care about their job? They're just there to make enough to support their ski or surf habit. This was without question in the top 5 (or low 5) worst service experiences I've ever had in my life. With that said, the food was okay. Standard bar stuff. Fish tacos had some nice ingredients but were underexecuted. The salads I saw/tasted at our table were okay. My sister-in-law who dined with us was shorted a good 3 oz in her pina colada, which we sent back and they did top off when asked. This is a great location, and looks very inviting when you pull up in your boat. But you're best to just admire it from your boat and keep on trolling. This place was so sad. After seeing pictures on line I excepted way too much. The pricey food made me think it would be good, oh god was I wrong. We stayed at the resort for a week and only ate there once. Our hot wings were raw, so we sent them back the second time they were cooked but the wrong flavor. Oh well, my French dip looked like bagged meat from subway, thought I was going to be sick after eating it, my husband had the fish and chips, they were actually good, our margaritas tasted like dust and hairspray weird I know, and to top it off they leave all the condiments out in the heat all day I feel bad for whoever decides to use the ketchup 120$ later and very dissatisfied read more

Great experience for Bigfork! We were a large group (~10) and the waitress doted on us for the 2-3 hours we spent at the Tiki Bar. Everything we ordered was quite good (for Montana, not for New York or San Francisco) and the hospitality was excellent. All in all, this was certainly one of the best food and drink experiences we had in Bigfork! read more
