For drinks, we tried several. The Rum Punch didn't disappoint. It reminded me of a Hurricane but without the heavy grenadine flavor, which I personally prefer. Next was a creamy white rum cocktail with a pineapple garnish (I can't remember the name). It was surprisingly strong, which I loved since rum is usually a softer spirit. It was just a little sweeter than my taste, so I probably wouldn't order it again. The star of the night was the Piña Colada. It was honestly one of the best I've ever had. It wasn't overly sweet, had an incredibly smooth, creamy texture, and was topped with whipped cream and a rum floater that was absolutely perfect. They told me it's double blended, and whatever they're doing works. My only complaint? No maraschino cherry! I'm sorry, but a piña colada just isn't complete without one. One thing to keep in mind is that piña coladas tend to drink more like dessert than a strong cocktail. I had two and barely caught a buzz, but honestly I didn't care because they were that good. We also sampled the White Peach Sangria, and to me it tasted very similar to Moscato. If you're a Moscato fan, you'll probably love it. Overall, I'd definitely come back. Between the happy hour deals, the rum cocktails, and especially that piña colada, The Rum House is absolutely worth a visit. The piña colada would be the first thing I'd order again.

When the woman handed me my food, I asked if I could have some ketchup. She responded with an attitude, saying, "There's some in the bag." I thanked her and left. Based on how I was treated, I couldn't help but feel like I was being judged differently because of my ethnicity. I can't say for certain that was the reason, but that's honestly how the interaction made me feel.
