I had an opportunity to visit this little gem in Upper Arlington last week and I loved every minute of it. Tiki's Botanicals specializes in handmade lotions, soaps, and candles, and the best part is that they have a large collection of some unique fragrances (Bourbon caramel anyone?) which makes this place a great gift store for that hard-to-please friend/family member. As great as the products are in the store, Joey, who was working the day that I visited, was extremely friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. I learned from Joey the history of the business, the other two locations, and so much more. The shea butter and the shower steamers looked and smelled amazing, and I also purchased a soap (Rose Bouquet) which smelled fantastic. Considering that everything here is handmade and "one of its kind", the prices are reasonable. I look forward to coming back here to continue to support this awesome small business.

What an absolutely adorable little shop. When you first walk in you are greeted with the most tantalizing smells. There is just about anything you could wish for to pamper yourself. Handmade soaps, lip scrubs, body care, bath bombs, candles and what I was most excited about...shower steamers! I left with a sampler of the eucalyptus spearmint shower steamers and shea butter lotion. The staff was friendly and helpful and I left with some lip scrubs, candles, soap and a cute little soap holder/scrubber because I love bar soap and this one looks washable (fingers crossed).

I had been to Tiki Botanicals at their German Village location awhile back and didn't even notice they opened their second location in Upper Arlington. As you enter the shop, all the amazing fragrance surrounding the shop is relaxing. The staff is welcoming and very patient to answer my questions. They definitely have a lot of variety of product from body care, candle and much more. I always love their candle cause each of are special not only from the fragrance perspective. Each of the candle container are unique and come with different size and shape. Also, if you bring in any finished candle, they offer refill with a 10% discount.

I absolutely love this place!! The cleanest, freshest products you will ever get, smell & put on your skin. It is very easy to get to with so many other stores/restaurants around it, perfect stop for a shopping day. I loved the worker there, he was amazing & so helpful. I love how you can take the candles back you buy & get them refilled when it runs out, Reuse, Recycle baby!! I got a candle, soaps, lotion, bath bombs, you name it, I am set for a full self care night. I throw the lotion in my purse, it is a perfect smell, non greasy lotion I can put on anywhere. The store itself is super clean and I will definitely be back. They should really have some sort of rewards program for me, haha.

First of all, the aesthetics of this little shop is EVERYTHING! I was immediately greeted by the owner and store manager! The store manager was so helpful and answered all of my questions. You can tell that he really enjoys working at Tiki Botanicals and was very excited for this event! I was able to meet the owner on his way out. He was very friendly and excited about this new location opening! They literally have everything that you need and every scent you can think of! They have an entire wall of facial care (with testers) and a line of hair care, which I will definitely be back for! The dog / cat area immediately caught my attention, which I wasn't expecting when walking in to a small bath shop! I immediately grabbed the dog treats and catnip spray. The dog bones are made by Growlers, which is a nonprofit business in Columbus that provides employment, vocational training, and volunteer opportunities to individuals with disabilities. The catnip spray is apparently a big hit! The store manager was telling me about all of the satisfied customers who purchase it - so of course, I had to! I was excited for the goats milk soaps, but ended up opting for the honey oatmeal and cherry almond premium bar soaps. They smell amazing! They also have plenty of bath bombs, hand soaps, and lotions. As I was going to checkout, the store manager working brought out some new candles and had me smell the Lavender Lemonade. I couldn't resist! The candles are made with 100% soy wax. Apparently you can bring in your own jars and they have a variety of empty ones if you decide that you want another scent! There was an adorable cat jar, but I decided to leave it for another cat lover and purchased the lavender lemonade. He said the turnaround time for candles to be made is typically a day! I am obsessed with anything and everything eucalyptus spearmint, so I cannot wait to try the shower steamers followed by the shea butter cashmere lotion.

I recently lost my father and was gifted this peace lily from his funeral. I successfully killed it in the matter of a couple weeks. I took my sad plant to their little shop explained what was going on and how much this plant meant to me. He showed me what pot to buy (which I knew I was gonna need) and they repotted it for free with the purchase of the ceramic pot with drip tray. Gave me a quick plant lesson on how to care for it and sent me on my way. It's officially 6 months later and my peace lily has now bloomed and is thriving. There aren't enough stars to give or kind words in the world to say about this company. They really truly have something special going for them. Thank you Plant Gays

The shop is fun. David, the owner is helpful and good at helping you pick out the right plant for the right lighting, plus he explains how to keep plants alive (which I am so very bad at-but getting better with his help!) Learned he even makes some of his own pots. Which is so cool! Plants were reasonably priced. The two I purchased were about 17 bucks. The pots were a bit more but the quality was excellent. I am sure I will be back as I gain more confidence in being a plant mom!

It led me straight to **Blossom Flower Bar**, a new florist business that's clearly got the *soft launch meets cool girl era* vibe down. Think: **Trader Joe's DIY floral section** but with actual stylish florist folks on hand to help if you want a real-deal bouquet or guidance on your stems. The vibe? Youthful, jazzy, and blooming with potential. **What I grabbed:** An **exotic mix of flowers** -- the last of the bunch, since they'd opened early for the fair and I swung by post-lunch. A few stems, some not-yet-budded beauties, and a *slightly* picked-over selection still ran me **\$56 with tax**. Yes, that stung a bit, but listen -- **tariffs have upped your Mother's Day flowers by 30%**, so don't say I didn't warn you! Still, the bouquet is **thriving in my vase** days later, and I learned a little flower care too (no direct sunlight, y'all -- so off the kitchen counter and onto my coffee table they went). I don't quite understand the fascination of this city with food and drink, since the other reviews claim they can add it. Why? So you all can overstay your welcome in this shot gun style business? Come on now. Let's keep the drinks and food menu for private events and just learn to pack a sandwich people. LOL **Final thought:** With the plant girl aesthetic booming post-COVID, it's no surprise **florists are hip again**. But let's not forget to show the same support to these **mom-and-pop petal pushers** who bring beauty to the block one bouquet at a time.

I love that the menu gives you a recipe to make your bouquet and the prices per stem are also listed so you don't get sticker shock at the end. My Book Club went for a girls day to make bouquets, and we had a blast! They will let you bring your own alcohol and snacks in too. Definitely room for them to grow and offer their own food and beverage selections in the future though to add to the experience.
