Im currently seeing Keith for tattoo removal at Tiki. The shop is super clean, the staff always friendly and accomodating. I've recommended Keith to other friends for piercings, and have seen him my self for piercings in different locations. He is so well trained and is adamant about being on top of the latest in the industry, as well as making sure they are always extra hygenic in the shop. Unfortunately, he no longer pierces, but they have the best prices for tattoo removal that Ive seen (yes, its still an expensive procedure). Keith is very casual in manor, and easy to talk to when using the laser...he puts up with my nervous banter when Im being lasered (it hurts a LOT more than getting a tattoo) Cant wait for this sucker to be gone! Update. Tiki town has been working with me to fix this. The artist who did my tattoo is gone and the staff has been very kind.

Back in April I was looking for a neo traditional tattoo artist to do a scifi piece for me and came across Nicole May. She's very talented and created exactly what I was hoping for, I couldn't have asked for a better artist to do the piece for me and will definitely be going back to her for future pieces. read more

I have had piercings from Tribal Expression just across from Tiki Town and that is how I was first introduced. Di has done all of my piercings here so far and I would recommend her to anyone getting a first piercing or a piercing in an uncomfortable spot. My first piercing done there was my septum, the procedure (chosen jewelry, payment, getting the piercing done and getting information) was all quick, and painless. The staff made it easy to feel comfortable, as they were fun and professional. The shop itself is one of the cleanest in the city, both tribal and tiki town and I am always impressed as it seems to only get cleaner the more I go. As for Tiki Town, I have been tattooed by both Francisco and Nicole, and both have been nothing but awesome. They are both very professional in manner but also fun and easy to converse with. I always find when getting a tattoo, it's nice to be able to talk to your artist as it makes you more comfortable. Both artists have very different style with Francisco being able to perform crisp work using realism and heavy detail and Nicole focusing on a more neotraditional flare giving amazing colour to any piece you bring her. I went for a consultation about a month ago, which went very well! the guys there were welcoming and friendly...or so i though. I made an appointment for a month later, my appointment rolls around and I am mentally ready for this tattoo (half a sleeve ready!) not only was the women behind the counter a tad snobby but they had made some bullsh*t story on why my appointment was cancelled/moved....apparently someone with my name and the exact picture I wanted done changed my appointment (yeah, ok). The guy did (half ass) apologize for the "mix up" although he assumed I didn't have a full-time job and I could just pop in on any week day plus throwing in that he could take "time out of his day" to come in on his day off...on a MONDAY. I wasn't impressed with this place at all! I've had numerous tattoos, all going through different places. I have yet to find a tattoo place I am comfortable with but I know for sure I will never go back to Tiki Town. They lost a client and I'll be sure to spread my dissapointment. read more

This place does not run in an efficient and friendly matter. They are often over booked or running behind and I understand that sometimes appointments run longer than expected but seriously, a two hour wait? Figure your shit out! As for the work itself, nicole does an awesome job of small "quickie" tattoos and if you're looking for something small and relatively generic she can probably handle it. Not a personable attitude and I don't think I would trust her with a large job. They offer a free touch up but when you ask her to do it she can't see what needs to be touched up. Very low sense of observation and I don't think that's something you want in a tattoo artist. My best advice would be to spend some time in there and see how they handle their customers and for sure shop around! read more

So I walked in to tiki town as a walk in and spent half an hour with the artist trying to write out a font. We did not get what I was looking for and when I was still unsure, the artist started setting up. I did not tell him that I was ready to get the tattoo. I asked if we could sit down and write it out again and he told me no. We had to do the tattoo that moment or not at all. Because I was still unhappy with the font I said I didn't want to get the tattoo, obviously. He stood up and said "you make me angry", walked away in a huff, and the receptionist forced me to pay 90 DOLLARS for the setup fee which is actual insanity! I never once asked him to set everything up because I was not yet satisfied. I just recently got my tattoo done somewhere else and the total fee was $100 - so Tiki Town is a complete rip off and actually just took $90 from me. I will never recommend anyone to go to Tiki town. read more

i find this place great(shop wise)my artist does great work place is realy clean and cleans it in front of you too!!staff prety kool only issue i ad there is whit the receptionist total biatch first i called to meet a artist so she told me ya just come down...got there after 30 min to b told theres none there and she told me sorry i dint think you were in the nabourhood,after that during my session she wanted me to get of the chair to pay now cause princess ad something to do and she kinda ad a fit went i told her(not realy im paying 150$ an hour to sit on that chair) and shes so lost shes calling me to rebook apointment from dates i never ad and pretending to rebook me on the dates im already booked!!!!!!! read more
