Chicken tikka tacos on a naan bread :) #chefkiss

Literally the best tacos ... Indian tacos I've ever had. When they are at the Highland Market me and my kids never miss. The meat have sooooo much flavors.

    Chickpea Masala tacos

Tikka Haven absolutely blew me away at the Loma Linda Street Fair . Their Chickpea Masala tacos were insane...packed with flavor and such a perfect fusion. Even my picky daughter devoured hers. Definitely a new favorite!

My wife, Chef Ann, felt at home from the minute we walked in. The location was clean, quiet, and cozy. I'm a Type 2-diabetic so I don't generally eat at locations that don't serve brown rice. But Mohammad, the owner, was very accommodating. He prepared a delightful off-the-menu Navrattan Korma mixed vegetables as a a low-carb substitute for the basmati rice. And the lamb curry? OMGoodness-it's the best I've ever tasted! My mouth was having a party! The veggies and lamb were exploding with flavor in every mouthful and spiced to perfection. Ann had the Chicken Tikka Masala, samosas and garlic naan and it was all excellent. By the end of the meal, Chef Ann was already declaring this as our new go-to Indian place. Surprisingly, I agree with her! That's unusual for me, I normally prefer home-cooked meals to eating out. We're so delighted we discovered Beyond Biryani and we can't wait to go back! If you want outstanding service, flavorful Indian food and a place that makes you feel welcome, this is a fantastic place to go. We'll be back soon, for another fabulous dining experience!

First time trying it and would order it again. Saag with Tofu: 9/10 - Ordered medium spicy and it was perfect for me, but my son who loves spicy foods said it wasn't spicy at all, lol. Otherwise, it was good. Not the best I've had but definitely worthy of a repeat order. Garlic Naan: 5/10 - It was paper thin, but had a lot of garlic and cilantro, which I appreciated. Just the bread was so thin that it was too crispy, not soft. I would NOT order this again. Papadum: 6/10 - Requested to add chaat masala powder and they obliged. The papadum was good, flavor-wise, but portions were inedible because they weren't fully cooked and still had hard portions, kind of like stale tortilla chips. I would order again, but only in-person, and check my order before leaving. Will I be back? Probably not, there are better Indian restaurants nearby.

There's a mural of Gandhi and Frida Kalo. It's not Mexican fusion though but I'm not complaining. The colors and arrangement really elevated the place. There was only one other group during our visit and there was plenty of parking up front. Rice was plain but all the flavor wad in the chicken and garlic naan. My husband said it was the best he's ever had. The bread was prefecture baked and the flavor amazing. The garlic and cilantro really popped. I'm interested in trying their byrriani next. We'll definitely be back. Prices weren't too bad either. $16 on antree $4 naan + tip.

One person in the group recommended Naan Cafe for the first event, and they didn't disappoint! I almost felt bad rolling in with 15 people on a Sunday at noon in a rainstorm during what seemed like a slow time. Not bad to bring in business, just bad to bring it in all at once. There was plenty seating to host our big group with minimal table shuffling. It seemed liked there was even another big group meeting there as well shortly after ours. They really handled the rush like champs and got us our food super quick. Most of it is ready to serve like fast food Chinese restaurants. I haven't tried much Indian food before, but I really liked this setup so I can see what I'm ordering and ask questions about I'm picking. I think this would be the go-to model of introducing Indian food to someone that hasn't had it before, or is reluctant to try it. I ordered a two item combo which comes with two entree items, rice, and garlic naan bread. For my two items I tried the chicken tikka masala (which I hear is the gateway entree for most trying Indian food) and the lamb curry. I've had chicken tikka masala a couple times and it's always pretty good. This one was no different, except maybe that the chicken was a little better that usual! What really stood out was the lamb curry. It was really flavorful and savory and had plenty sauce to mix with the rice. As usual, I also have the benefit of trying my wifes food. She got a two item with the palak paneer (a common spinach and cheese dish) and the chicken curry. I'm never a huge fan of palak paneer and this was no different. It was okay, but I wouldn't order it just because of preference. The chicken curry I would probably order next time instead of the tikka masala. It might have been my favorite thing I tried - but I'll have to come back and order it for myself next time!

They already have a bunch of dishes prepared, and you can choose one, two, or three entrées. The prices are really affordable, and the three-entrée option comes with naan and a drink. My favorite was the paneer with spinach. It was so good! The naan was also really good and came out fresh and pretty quickly. We tried the potato naan and people thought it was heavy on the cumin. The portion sizes are amazing, a two-entree plates will easily feed 2 people. They also have other dishes you can order individually that aren't already prepared, but those are a little more expensive. I didn't try any of those this time, but I'll definitely be back to try something different. Overall, really good food for the price and a great spot for a quick Indian meal!

In fact, I respect family businesses. But if they're going to be serving customers, they need proper training and guidance on how to be waiters. My wife and I came here because of the great reviews, and the food absolutely lived up to the hype. The menu is somewhat limited, but I'd rather see a restaurant focus on doing a smaller number of dishes exceptionally well than offer a huge menu with mediocre food. Be prepared to wait. On a Sunday lunch, there were only two parties ahead of us, and our first dishes still took about 25 minutes to arrive. The samosa plate, garlic nann, chicken tikka masala, and lentil soup were all excellent. Easily some of the better Indian/Pakistani food I've had in the area. The problem was our shrimp karahi. While we were eating everything else, it still hadn't arrived. I asked our server about it and was told it was "almost ready." We continued eating, finished our entire meal, and still no shrimp karahi. It finally arrived after we were completely done eating. Not only was there no apology, but nobody even acknowledged the delay. I was ready to tell them to take it back, but my wife convinced me to keep it since the food was good and we could have it for lunch the next day. Food: 5 stars Service: 2 stars

You wouldn't expect to find such delicious Southern Indian food in a low key plaza in Colton, CA of all places, so this was a pretty good pull from him. Since we came for a later lunch, we were seated immediately and aside from a couple other customers, I think the other orders were all for to go. It's a small family owned restaurant and has a lot of cultural decor and the portrait of their grandfather. Love that. Food came out quickly and the portion sizes are quite generous. Everything was super flavorful and had complex taste profiles. With some things being a bit sour and spicy, to creamy and tangy, and with the carbs having different textures too, made each bite diverse and delicious. You don't get tired of your meal so quickly and makes the dining experience quite fun too, at least for someone who doesn't eat this cuisine as often. I don't quite remember the names of everything that I got, but I did enjoy everything that was ordered from the stews, curries, sauces, and it all went really well with the huge crispy piece of dosa and the vada pastry. I'm not sure when I'll be back in this area, but this is a solid place to eat.
