Joe Dorack of Tile Tech came out today to clean our tile floors, I cannot express enough what a great job he did! Our floors had some kind of top coat on that needed to come off in order to clean properly plus allow for sealant to do it's job. I could not get over the gluey gunk he removed!! We hired Joe Dorack, owner/operator of Tile Tech, to deep clean our shower, remove black mold in the silicone, and re-grout where needed. Unfortunately, the work was not performed as agreed. * While the silicone and some mold were removed, the re-grouting was done improperly. The wrong grout color was used, the mixture was not done at the right ratio, and in several areas the grout has already lifted and smeared onto tiles. * The shower itself was not cleaned as promised--visible grime remained. * When we raised these concerns, Joe admitted to doing a poor job with the grout but became hostile and threatening, demanding payment and even threatening to place a lien on our home. * After checking yelp reviews later, we discovered that others have reported similar negative experiences. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Tile Tech or Joe Dorack for tile cleaning or repair. We're sharing this so others are aware before hiring. read more

Joe was contracted to deep clean and seal our pebble tile shower floor. I learned this type of tends to pool water and build mold in between the raised pebbles. Joe uses a high temp cleaning machine that was able to clean it out and it looks fantastic. He also cleaned and sealed our tile floors, and all of our granite counters in the kitchen and bathrooms. He gave us invaluable advice before during and post cleaning. we now know how to care for all of our tile and granite with the proper cleaning solutions and tools.His prices are very good and I highly recommend Joe for cleaning and ceiling. Being honest, respectful and dependable. After committing to his quote, he changed his mind on doing what was agreed upon the day of service. We spent hours moving our furniture and preparing for his services only to see him walk off the job because we questioned how his quote went from 3-5 days to just 6 hours just a a ahead of the scheduled work without. He is a bait and switch business person who is unprofessional, lacks integrity and is aggressive to women who question his responses. Likely he will also be defensive to this response. His aggressive and defensive responses when she questioned the last minute changes made my wife feel unsafe. Wow!! I have never been treated so poorly! Joe Dorack is the worst businessman. He is the definition of a bad used car salesman. He talks a good game but when it comes down to doing the work, it's very different. His original quote indicated he would take 3-5 days to complete the process yet the day before he said he could do it in 6 hours. He was disrespectful, dishonest and unprofessional to us. Beware, we wasted several hours with him including prepping the house for his service only for him to walk away because we questioned how he could do the work in such a short time for nearly the same work. His claim is he changed his process nor longer sealing baseboards because the last customer complained about his work. There are better options out there to clean and restore your floors.He showed up to the job with his dog a large German shepherd. Tied him up in my driveway then he proceeded to tell me " if he gets hot I'll just hose him off" I can't trust hourly wage workers to shut and lock the gate at his personal residence. read more

He is the picture of professionalism: communicated frequently, did more than he said he would, stood by his work, and put an impressive amount of effort into the project that exceeded my expectations. Price was fair market. That, combined with an exceptional quality of work and responsiveness ensures that I won't think twice about asking him to work on my tile and grout in the future. The project was extensive cleaning of stained grout, dealing with about 20 years of water stains in our shower (not a single one left when he was finished) and regrouting the pan of my walk-in shower, which was impressively cracked and chipped. Joe came and gave me a quote, scheduled a time to come, showed up when he said he would, always texted me if there was any delay or hiccupt, and did more than he said he would. The true mark of his professionalism came when a small part of the new grout chipped away. He came to my home within 6 hours of me reaching out to him and fixed the grout, only stating that "I stand by me work." It's hard to find that level of professionalism in the world. We had Tile Tech clean and seal the grout on our 700 sq ft of tile. Joe was very knowledgeable and helpful and did a great job! We are beyond pleased! Our grout is back to the color it is supposed to be. We would definitely recommend Tile Tech and will use them again. read more
